Big Lots is not the junk store anymore. It has nice snacks, organization item (and not just garbage plastic either) health and beauty, decor and furniture. I bought some snack foods like unsweetened coconut chips and dried mulberry and goji berries. They were good and I've been back since and got more. I also found some garden fairies to add to my garden. I didn't think I would find them up here but they have many kinds of fairies and settings. I am very happy we stopped in. They have much nicer things than I expected. I will definitely be back and recommend Big Lots!

The Show Low Tractor Supply manager, John, insists he and his store are not responsible-- only the property owner, but John acknowledged that he hires a contractor to make parking lot repairs. The Show Low Tractor Supply store then bills the property owner for the repairs. Manager John deferred to the landlord, based in Canada, who seems to use more than one corporate name. The property owner in Canada has been less than transparent. Negotiations with John ended abruptly when he learned I had recorded a conversation with him, claiming doing so was illegal. I'm awaiting a call from a district manager. We'll see how that goes. I hope I have a reason to edit or update this review later.

The selection of vintage books is also to die for. My husband found alot too. I couldn't believe the prices either. Books that should be $10 plus marked down to $3 and the staff was so cute. They gave me stickers and a cute pin! We ended up spending less than $50 on not only brand new books but yeah the vintage ones too that were easily $50 at any other store. This locally owned spot is around the back of the building tucked away in the basement of the building. When we first walked in I was immediately in love with it. It's beautifully organized. The books seem to go on forever and there are genres for everyone here. Everything is clearly labeled and it's all alphabetical by author's last name so you can easily find whatever you're looking for. The folks we interacted with were friendly, kind, and helpful as well. If you need help definitely don't hesitate to ask. The discount book section is really fun to dig through and my mom ended up with one of the bags loaded with books for a good price. I actually ended up buying one of the new books from the front area and it was comparable in price to what you can get it for on Amazon. I'd rather the local business have that than the giant corp so I didn't mind. I would say that their prices are decent but not quite as low as other places. They're still priced well though and it's definitely worth stopping in to have a look if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.
