Went to Pharmacy and they made an announcement "customer needs assistance with cologne" 3 employees walked by me. No one stopped. I gave up 20 minutes was long enough. On my way to check out a manager was chit chatting with another guy. I asked the checker who is that man that works here? He is our Coach. Wow! She said why? Because he has been standing there talking while l had waited 20 minutes for an employee to unlock the cologne cabinet. I had twins that wanted Versace cologne. When I work there it was not only a grocery store, It was a pawn shop and a place you could charge and pay your bill when your Social security came in you pay the bills and then you have what was left over. We made them sign the receipts when they got things. It also had a gas station and a bait shop and next door was his trailer and he had a little building he rented out. Back then it was S&S Auto parts. Lot of memories there. I work for Jack Jones all the way till he died. His girls and I was close and I see them time to time. Now It is still going strong and I love stopping in there.
