When I work there it was not only a grocery store, It was a pawn shop and a place you could charge and pay your bill when your Social security came in you pay the bills and then you have what was left over. We made them sign the receipts when they got things. It also had a gas station and a bait shop and next door was his trailer and he had a little building he rented out. Back then it was S&S Auto parts. Lot of memories there. I work for Jack Jones all the way till he died. His girls and I was close and I see them time to time. Now It is still going strong and I love stopping in there.
