Upon entering the store I was pleased to find a nice variety of brands like Carhartt, Wrangler, Red Wing, Danner and my two favorites Filson and White's Boots. If you know anything about Filson and White's you will understand that finding a store with a good selection of these brands is hard because of the high price point. After trying on my fair share of Filson garments I was pleased to find that they were willing to offer a 5% discount on Filson items. 5% isn't much but hey a discount is a discount. I began to chat with the woman working there who ended up being the owner, Anita. As we chatted about a recent collaboration between Filson and Levi's she quickly brought up the another collaboration that Levi's did with Pendleton which was impressive to me when her closest Levi's store is 300 miles away in Reno, NV. All in all I had a great experience here and would recommend this spot to anyone who needs gear while in or around Elko.

Often busy as you'd expect with lines at the registers even at off hours, but self checkout has tons of kiosks and moves along fast. Place low-key has tons of good stuff on clearance every time I visit for some reason. They even have a little alcohol clearance area, never see those around let alone at a Wally World.

Found it interesting that Bing Crosby had a property here for over a decade and he spent a lot of time here. 2.) A big taxidermy room with quite a few exhibits with a broad range of animals 3.) The Duncan Littlecreek Gallery Bar was perfect for us, as we always check-out the art museum when we travel. Sat at the old historic bar and also wandered thru the galleries while enjoying craft cocktails and local beer. Savannah was wonderful, sharing history of the bar and of Elko. So sad for the regulars, as she was working her last week. The Walden's Pond was good, even though they were out of basil. There were nice choices for drafts. Trivia Night started before we could depart and the bar filled up with locals. It was a fun evening!

The gallery has ceramics, cards, framed prints, paintings, and prints on their own. The prices for the artwork is reasonable, and there are a lot of different styles for everyone's taste. It is fun to walk around with your drink and browse. I think the bar/gallery combo is unique! The bar had a seasonal/Halloween menu, and a regular menu. I thought the prices of their cocktails was great and reasonable as well! My drink from the Halloween menu, Satan's Whiskers, was delicious! The people that I was with also enjoyed their cocktails and beer. Service was great, we came at a slower time and the bartender was friendly. Additionally, the bar is very spacious. The inside has plenty of seating. I know there is an outside as well, but I did not see it since it was a little chilly that evening. I would definitely come again, I hear they have fun events like poetry nights too.
