So I found out about this store while researching what to do and where to stay/eat in Elko, NV. I…read morewas excited to see what brands of work wear and western wear that they carried being that Elko is a rather rural environment. Upon entering the store I was pleased to find a nice variety of brands like Carhartt, Wrangler, Red Wing, Danner and my two favorites Filson and White's Boots. If you know anything about Filson and White's you will understand that finding a store with a good selection of these brands is hard because of the high price point. After trying on my fair share of Filson garments I was pleased to find that they were willing to offer a 5% discount on Filson items. 5% isn't much but hey a discount is a discount. I began to chat with the woman working there who ended up being the owner, Anita. As we chatted about a recent collaboration between Filson and Levi's she quickly brought up the another collaboration that Levi's did with Pendleton which was impressive to me when her closest Levi's store is 300 miles away in Reno, NV. All in all I had a great experience here and would recommend this spot to anyone who needs gear while in or around Elko.

Within 4 hours my wife started throwing up sick then 6 hours I was doing the same. Im not sure if they are purposely selling spoiled food to not take a loss or if there handing meat secrion is horrible and dirty and mishandled. Ether way we have bought multiple items in the past that tasted spoiled like yogurt, and milk. This is a store I will now avoid for any purchase.

Since we use the app, we can access all of the sales and specials. Traveling with the trailer requires stopping at supermarkets to fill up the refrigerator. This is definitely a nice place to stop. Used a checker as I always do. Paid with the Walmart app. Receipt goes to phone. On my way out im approached and asked for receipt. I let him know I don't have a paper receipt but have one on my phone. He told me that's not allowed. I'm so confused at this point. As he's arguing with me he puts his hands on my cart in front of me and told me I'm not allowed to leave the store. So detained me at front of the store. Called others up. Once they came up showed them my receipt on my phone and left. Was completely shaken up. A grown man doing that to a women for power control. Completely embarrassing and unacceptable. When they did finally call me after complaining was asked what I was expecting. Umm atleast an apology. Haven't went back since and don't plan to.

Found it interesting that Bing Crosby had a property here for over a decade and he spent a lot of time here. 2.) A big taxidermy room with quite a few exhibits with a broad range of animals 3.) The Duncan Littlecreek Gallery Bar was perfect for us, as we always check-out the art museum when we travel. Sat at the old historic bar and also wandered thru the galleries while enjoying craft cocktails and local beer. Savannah was wonderful, sharing history of the bar and of Elko. So sad for the regulars, as she was working her last week. The Walden's Pond was good, even though they were out of basil. There were nice choices for drafts. Trivia Night started before we could depart and the bar filled up with locals. It was a fun evening!
