The gal working there, Lucy, was so friendly and so helpful. I really appreciate the excellent service. I was not really shopping for anything in particular but I found some jewelry that I liked and the price was reasonable for those. I also found a couple of dresses that I liked and one of them was an extra large and I knew I could not wear that but she said try them on in vintage you just never know how they're going to fit. So the extra large I could not even zip! The size 12 dress fit perfect so Lucy's advice to try everything on was spot on. I ended up purchasing the dress that I could wear and I was so sorry that I did not try on the red and white shoes. Next trip down to Florida I will certainly check this little shop out again!

Definitely an eclectic store…read more.. As the name of the place implies, this store is filled with a wide variety of gifts, trinkets, jewelry, and almost everything in between. My wife found some pretty sun flower earrings that came in a nice holiday gift bag, where I found a shaped-metal ornament in the image of the iconic toy soldiers they have plopped in just about every corner of Downtown Deland. The lady working there was super pleasant and welcoming, and I will definitely keep this place in mind on a future visit.

We stumbled upon this home mercantile shop on a Saturday while exploring the area, and I'm so glad we did. They have a shabby chic/vintage vibe with some really unique pieces that have a more modern feel. They have some large furniture pieces, rugs & textiles, and curated antiques throughout the store. We got a few home accents/knick knacky things to decorate our home office and bookshelf. They also have some great faux plants/greens that are perfect if you're a plant killer like me. I was really crushing on all their kitchen tools -- brass honey dippers, cute measuring cups, cutting & charcuterie boards, stoneware, hand carved wood bowls, marble pinch pots for herbs & seasonings... the list goes on. I'm not much of a cook but this shop made me wish I was, haha. I also ended up getting a comfy dress and some earrings (they have a great gold jewelry selection), and I've already worn it twice (instant closet staple). The customer service was impeccable, and the selection was vast and had things for different seasons and styles. I was able to try on a few things and ended up buying two dresses. I love supporting local shops and I feel like the dresses I got were well priced in high-quality. The clerk of the store had to explain to me some of the price points because there was one hat that I absolutely loved, but I could not spend more on a hat that said farmers market, then a full dress. The funny thing is when I got home I I told my friend that I went to downtown the land and she said "oh you really should have went to Shellsea, It's a great place and you would've loved it."
