On this visit we picked up a new Mr Coffee Express Brew for $20, regularly $40. Great deal and the coffee is delicious. Okay, I like dollar stores and the like. In CO. we don't have but very few…read more. This one Dollar General , I think, is the best and has the most variety. From baby nippers to canned goods and National brands- they have it. They even carry "Funfetti" cake and icing. The rock bottom prices are great, but it even gets better with the sale items. A real Bargain store. The cashiers and stock person are very helpful they will check out their stock in the back if need be. I am in there whenever I go to this plaza, which is also great. The store is very clean, mopped and swept often, and no Florida smell (what ever that is called) If you arrive by 17-92 (not I-4) getting out of the plaza is kind of a pain. Make a U turn at the light. to get back on 17-92 or just take the I-4 way home towards Orlando. This location in Orange City, Florida, is no exception! Whether you're looking for home decor, seasonal items, or even clothing, you're sure to find something at a great price. I recently visited and was impressed with the holiday decorations already on display, even before the holidays hit. There were lots of outdoor and indoor Halloween decorations, including fun costumes for dogs and people of all ages--from kids to adults. Some costumes are priced below $10, which is a steal! I also found festive Halloween party dishes, mugs, and other fun items to set the mood. The Christmas decor is also rolling in, so if you spot something you like, I'd recommend grabbing it early. I've learned from experience that waiting too long means the best items can be sold out closer to the holidays. This Ross location is one of the more organized stores I've been to. It's clean, and I appreciate that it's wheelchair-friendly, including the accessible bathrooms. The dressing rooms are also kept clean, and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help you find what you're looking for. If you're trying to avoid long lines, I'd recommend visiting later in the evening. The lines can get busy between 5 and 6 PM as people stop by after work, but I've found that they move pretty quickly. Also, a neat touch for Florida shoppers: they always seem to have umbrellas for sale near the front of the store in case you get caught in one of our many rainstorms! Overall, this is a great Ross location with plenty of fun seasonal finds. I always leave satisfied and look forward to coming back for more holiday shopping!

If you've ever shopped for mirrors, you know that's a wonderful price for a large mirror. If you have a dogs/dogs make sure to check out the dog toys. Ross always has good, sturdy dog toys at really great prices. They are usually 1/4 of the price you'll find them at Target or any of the pet stores. I have a Standard Poodle who is my service dog, so I always grab a few new toys for him each time I'm in Ross. The only complaint I have is the LONG, LONG line to check out. I shopped for about 15 minutes. I waited in line to check out for nearly 45 minutes. I know this is mainly because people just aren't wanting to work nowadays, so companies are having a difficult time finding people. This is seriously going to start hurting companies more and more if people don't go back to work because I'll come here one more time and if I see the line that long again, then I'll just go home and order a mirror online for $100+ and not waste my time standing in a line. It's a sad day when an American would rather sit on their ass and collect money from the government than get up and get a job. SMH.

Honestly, I had kind if given up on Winn-Dixie at one point as the quality of the product and the customer service continued to plummet. And then Winn-Dixie (and/or Southeastern Grocers) made a decision that they had to revamp and rehaul the struggling supermarket chain. Yes, they gave the stores quite the face-lift. They made the stores welcoming and looking like a supermarket that you would want to shop at. The staff seemed a bit more friendly. But what to me was the best change was the emphasis they put on their meat department, bringing in more USDA Chouce grade beef. You have to remember that Winn-Dixie was once the self-described "Beef People" and it was sad that Winn-Dixie focused more on their cheaper, significantly less quality beef as opposed to the quality USDA Choice grade. Now Winn-Dixie is out to take the market back that they lost. This particular location is clean and conveniently located on 17-92. There is adequate parking and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit here.
