Great Finds and Discounts at Ross Dress for Less in West Volusia Town Center…read more One of the reasons I love shopping at Ross Dress for Less is the amazing discounts, ranging from 20 to 60 percent off department store prices. This location in Orange City, Florida, is no exception! Whether you're looking for home decor, seasonal items, or even clothing, you're sure to find something at a great price. I recently visited and was impressed with the holiday decorations already on display, even before the holidays hit. There were lots of outdoor and indoor Halloween decorations, including fun costumes for dogs and people of all ages--from kids to adults. Some costumes are priced below $10, which is a steal! I also found festive Halloween party dishes, mugs, and other fun items to set the mood. The Christmas decor is also rolling in, so if you spot something you like, I'd recommend grabbing it early. I've learned from experience that waiting too long means the best items can be sold out closer to the holidays. This Ross location is one of the more organized stores I've been to. It's clean, and I appreciate that it's wheelchair-friendly, including the accessible bathrooms. The dressing rooms are also kept clean, and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help you find what you're looking for. If you're trying to avoid long lines, I'd recommend visiting later in the evening. The lines can get busy between 5 and 6 PM as people stop by after work, but I've found that they move pretty quickly. Also, a neat touch for Florida shoppers: they always seem to have umbrellas for sale near the front of the store in case you get caught in one of our many rainstorms! Overall, this is a great Ross location with plenty of fun seasonal finds. I always leave satisfied and look forward to coming back for more holiday shopping!

I found a beautiful, large mirror in a distressed white frame for my entryway. I had been looking for the perfect mirror for at last a year. Paid only $25 for it. If you've ever shopped for mirrors, you know that's a wonderful price for a large mirror. If you have a dogs/dogs make sure to check out the dog toys. Ross always has good, sturdy dog toys at really great prices. They are usually 1/4 of the price you'll find them at Target or any of the pet stores. I have a Standard Poodle who is my service dog, so I always grab a few new toys for him each time I'm in Ross. The only complaint I have is the LONG, LONG line to check out. I shopped for about 15 minutes. I waited in line to check out for nearly 45 minutes. I know this is mainly because people just aren't wanting to work nowadays, so companies are having a difficult time finding people. This is seriously going to start hurting companies more and more if people don't go back to work because I'll come here one more time and if I see the line that long again, then I'll just go home and order a mirror online for $100+ and not waste my time standing in a line. It's a sad day when an American would rather sit on their ass and collect money from the government than get up and get a job. SMH.

I bought my original first pair of sketchers from Michigan. A store called mijers for $25. I've had these issues for two months. They're great shoes and I really enjoyed them. I wanted to try a few other pair however I'm very picky about my shoes. I don't like them touching my feet which is a whole thing. I tried on about five pairs of different shoes and I walked around the store. The lady told me I was fine not to worry about it. It's better to test them out now because you can't return however, a man on the other side of the store told me I don't need to be wearing the shoes so much that it's OK to try them on but I need to buy them if I'm gonna walk around in them and I told him I'm trying like eight different pairs of shoes and I'm just walking around to make sure I like them because each pair of shoes is over $100 So the comment from the one member really turned me off if I did not Badly need another pair of shoes I would've left with out buying . While shopping I was trying to encourage a bronze singing bowl to sing for me, but couldn't get it going. The store owner graciously walked me through it; ahhhh, that's how it's done, now I remember. She was sweet enough to bring out her large crystal bowl, so I could make it sing; it was amazing! This bowl rang so loud I thought the glass jewelry cases would shatter, but didn't, awesome! My mom and I picked out a couple small gifts, and incents before leaving. I love how this store brings out the kid in me. I highly recommend stopping in if you are in the downtown Deland area.

My wife took me to Kohl's yesterday to look for some tennis shoes for my birthday. After going to Dick's Sporting Goods and seeing high prices on their shoes she decided to take me to Kohl's. I tried on two pairs one from Nike and one from New Balance both were on sale for approximately the same price, plus she had a $10 coupon. After about a 30 minute mental debate I finally purchased the New Balance. We saw several bargains throughout the store and actually went back in when we found another $5.00 coupon in the parking lot and bought my wife a nice blouse on sale for $6.00 after the coupon and a 15% additional online discount. In conclusion, I observed if you take advantage of the online discounts and coupons you can get great bargains on sale items. It is fairly easy to find assistance in the store if needed.
