Steelz is a combination store to me -- a combination of a Family Dollar / Overstock / Resale shop…read more While it might look like a thrift store, it isn't, and its inventory, always changing, seems to be overstock from other stores or from the manufacturers. I don't think I ever got a good sense of how things are laid out here, because everything seems to be placed wherever they can find an open spot, although I will say the pet supplies and toys were segregated from the clothing, furniture, and small appliances. The prices are reasonable, but not inexpensive, the employees will leave you alone to look around, but don't interact with you at all, either to welcome you in or thank you for coming. However, if you have a question, they will answer. Steelz is an interesting store that might yield some good finds for you if you know what you want and are prepared to browse a bit to find it.

They also had a yarn section and a craft section that I thought was really cool. I found a pair of almost brand new vans for $8. Cost was amazing. Service was great. Definitely worth stopping by.

Like many TJ Maxxes, everything is laid out by type of item. They have household goods, beauty, jewelry and accessories, men's and women's clothing as well as childrens, pet items, etc. They basically have everything but will they have exactly what you want, probably not. Will it be this season's stuff? Maybe or maybe not. This time round, my niece found some shoes she liked and it was cheaper than the ones we found at a different store. So we ended up returning the other ones. But if you have time to shop and look for stuff you've been thinking about buying, you may find a great deal! But check out can take a bit of time. They generally have registers open depending on the line length. And don't forget to look at the shelves in line before check out!

**November 2025: Saturday Afternoon Visit**…read more My mom and I were driving down Main Street and saw a big upscale resale sign. We thought it would be fun to check out so I made a quick turn to head to the parking lot. The store shares the building with a wine shop, but I was really surprised by the selection. Near the front entrance are an assortment of bags and when you walk a little further towards the windows they have a section of bargain pieces! There a $15, $20, and $25 short dress, jackets/outerwear section, and I believe a $10 tops section. The center section of the store had some really great designer pieces, but many were $100+, which is well above my price range for second hand. Nevertheless, if you go to the opposite side of the shop there's a whole section of items that are half off! There's a fun shoe section with some cowboy boots - though they just weren't my size *cries* They have a couple of mirrors around the shop as well as a dressing room, so it's a fun place to play dress up. I did find two jackets as well as a gold belt that I liked on this trip, so it was still a success! Hours Mon-Sat: 10am-6pm Sun: 12pm-5pm Parking: Plentiful Summary: This shop has an upscale boutique vibe to it. Items do tend to be on the pricier side, but I think if you really dig you can find some great gems!

I'm an avid consignment and thrift store shopper, and one of my favorite things to do when I travel…read morewith my family is carve out a little "me time" to hunt down the best local consignment shops. Being from the NYC area, I was blown away by what I found at Recouture Consignment in Bozeman, Montana. Their selection perfectly reflected the local vibe and season--think Pendleton sweaters, Woolrich jackets, high-end ski gear, and other amazing winter finds. On top of that, they had plenty of designer and brand-name pieces at incredible prices. I scored a Marc Jacobs crossbody bag, some great plaid button-downs, a beautiful collection of scarves and shawls, and even some super cool jewelry. We visit the YC and Big Sky every year, and I will absolutely be making Recouture a must-stop again next trip. I can't wait to see what treasures they have waiting next time. You won't be disappointed.
