There's a 1-2 foot pool sectioned off for the really little guppies. A small playground. A pool that gradually goes from zero inches to 4.5 feet for the slightly older toddlers and kids with two water slides. Then there's a standard diving and lap swimming pool in between the snack bar (with a ping pong table) and the indoor/outdoor bar (YAHS PLEASE). Downside is no towel service but there's a ton of leftover toys in the post and found for the kids to rummage through. The food is great pool food. Everyone is nice and it's not too busy even though it is hot as balls and the summertime.

There are many blind shots on this course and many uphill approaches to greens that are blind. Green are undulating depending on the pin position. We played here multiple times and thought course was in fair condition except for the fairways were not cut short to spin the ball, tee boxes and hole were not well marked ( no trash cans), and no cart service. It is esthetically pretty and easy to walk but it is hilly.

And the chocolate cheesecake for dessert was outstanding. It tasted home made and was deliciously light and fluffy for a cheesecake. The woman next to me remarked she didn't even like cheesecake and she ate the whole slice. I've never seen this done at professional events, but the wait staff even offered boxes if you didn't finish your meal. If this were a restaurant, I'd definitely go back. I'm not a member so I probably won't, but I'll keep an eye open for other events there. My one little grumble was that a soda cost $2 at the cash bar and the dinner cost $48, but I'm not sure how much went to fundraising for the group and what went towards the cost of the meal. The clubhouse is very lovely, with indoor and outdoor porch seating. They can open one wall almost completely to have access to the porch for additional seating. The bar is a full bar and the bartenders craft excellent cocktails to order. They have a reasonable beer selection and it appears they have a good wine selection, although I stock mainly with cocktails for this function. We had set up for a Buffet style catering event, and it was superb. The, bread was fresh and warm with perfect pre-cut slices of butter available. The salad was a build your own station, and all of the ingredients were fresh and crisp. The dressings were also well prepared, although I don't know if they were kitchen made or from a bottle. The BCC tomato dish was half tomatoes, crusted with brown sugar on the cut surface, and then cooked (baked? Broiled?) until the brown sugar formed a crust. These were very tasty and very interesting. A bit too sweet for me to have more than one but certainly worth a try. They had fingerling potatoes as well as Maryland crab soup. The only unfortunate part of service was that the person serving the soup wasn't familiar with the dish, and therefore did not mix it up prior to serving each bowl... so all of the crab was clearly on the bottom of the container, and none of us got any crab in our actual bowls, since she was ladling it from the top. Not a big deal, but seemed odd for a place this fancy to not have staff who understand how to serve Maryland crab soup. The main course was Maryland crabcakes and châteaubriand. Both were delicious and extremely well prepared. For dessert we had a variety of bars and pastries, and even a birthday cake for the person of honor for the event!

I belong to multiple clubs and they are all higher end than our club. None of them treat members like bcc. Ask the people who leave. Walking into the venue it was the proper old school Baltimore vibe; good drink prices, mature crowd, and plenty of seating. Ended up going on Dyngus Day, a polish celebration marking the end of Lent, which meant they had lots of beer and food (not typical, they don't serve food normally). They had great prices on drinks and food. Once I said how much I loved polish food, a plate magically appeared. The chapter president met with me and handed me an application. We spoke at length and really felt welcomed to the community. All in, it was a great experiences with no fluff or filler, just like I like my crab cakes. If I lived around the corner I would be a regular. This is the last stronghold of the old school Baltimore vibe I have found in the city. Highly recommend!

I am die hard fan and rarely miss Zumba with Karima which is AWESOME and a true work out. Anyone who claims otherwise certainly has not actually attended a class and perhaps has some other ax to grind. To assert that the Zumba class is more of a warm up and the cost is very high is flat out ridiculous --$10 to have a full work out and core workout is a steal truth be told. I also have enjoyed a range of other classes including Yoga, Tai Chi, Belly dancing, COR, Capoeria -- to name a few. Please check out the studio for yourself, truly sometimes reviews are just plan inaccurate.
