We don't belong to BCC but they catered an event that we were part of and got a meal for 2 to take…read morehome. Given that this was catering for a large event and that it had to travel a ways before we ate it, I was impressed. The cheese, crackers and nut plate was good but I would recommend sticking with the crostini and not including crackers for the to go option since the crackers were soggy by the time we got to them. The raw bar plate was delicious with fresh tasty shrimp and crab claws with fresh lemon, or the option to dip in one of two cocktail sauces. The potato salad was good if you like heavy olive flavor. Not my favorite. The chilled tenderloin was quite good and a big hit with one of my daughters who is a meat lover. The asparagus it came with was well cooked and flavorful and despite being thick was not tough even at the base. The potatoes were relatively plain and unexciting. The star of the show was the crab cakes which required reheating but were well worth it. Big chunks of crab meat with relatively little filler and a delicious remoulade. The dessert selection was unimpressive. They looked nice but were fairly bland. If they can do this well with catering I would imagine the dine in experience would be even better for those lucky enough to be invited.

It amazes me that this establishment is able to stay open being so blatantly discriminatory. They…read morequite literally bring people over from other countries just so they can work them 70+ hours a week. If they complain they just send them back to where they came from. As a member of the previous staff, I have witnesses this first hand. If you have any respect for those of us serving you, you'll find another country club.

Some would say it's only 6300+ yards from the tips and think it's an easy course. Trust me when I…read moresay it's not. I caddied for a player at the Maryland Open here and between the super fast greens, the doglegs, and the changes in slope, this place defends itself well. Course was in fantastic shape. Lots of variety with each hole and it's very walkable. It's an old style course in that the greens are close to the next tee box, and almost every green are pitched from back to front (aka don't go long). The range was good, but a little short. Some guys were hitting drives into the 8th (?) hole. There are two putting greens which give you a sense of how fast and undulating the greens are. They also have a small chipping green. The locker room was nice, but the bathrooms are showing their age. Overall they did a fantastic job in welcoming a lot of good players for this tournament.

My review is based off the venue experience and not golfing. I attended a graduation party here and…read morethe place was beautiful. I love the historic feel of it. The tables were lead out great with a few on the patio and the rest in the main dining area. The food was good, the Staff were attentive and they kept the place neat and tidy. I'm giving 4 stars solely because there was a leak in the pipe that kept dripping in the main dinner room. I assume it was from the air conditioning unit that had to be on full blast since it was 100 degrees outside.

Let me start by saying this is a positive 3 star review and I'm not trying to destroy this…read moreestablishment. Everyone was so nice and it's really a big and cool layout. With that said, this place is not for everyone. Sadly it was frustrating alone dealing with the parking situation. I parked so far away! Next, there was a band playing music, cool, but don't know any of their songs or the covers they were doing. The other room was 100% line dancing that if you didn't know it, you stayed off the dance floor and stand in place. There's a bull riding area that I saw a professional bull rider do tricks and that was cool and they intimidating. The drinks were really good and not overpriced! Star for that! And finally I just didn't have fun and I'm actually a dancer. I think you either love it or hate it. I didn't hate it, but I probably wouldn't come back again.

We love traveling to different line dancing communities, experiencing new places, and connecting with people through dancing. That's what makes situations like this so upsetting. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed and respected, regardless of their religion or appearance. The line dance world is a very connected community, and experiences like this naturally get talked about. I just hope this establishment reflects on the kind of environment they want to create moving forward, because this was deeply disappointing to hear about and unacceptable.

Stumbled on this course while biking nearby. Grateful they were open to let me go out around 4:30p…read moreish. (One Oct Sunday evening (2022))$18 to ride 9) I've only been playing about 18mths. And only played about 20 very varied courses. Each have had its own pros and cons and thus comparing would be pointless It's not Scotland nor the masters. It's slap in the middle of the city, so yes. There's traffic and cars going by and music will be heard. I think there's at least two "through ways" slap in the middle of the course (so look both ways before crossing infront of speeding vehicles). The other city course I played in Bmore is alongside a highway. I've played the President course which is alongside a military airfield..pick your poison Unlike many courses, no 9 does NOT end at the clubhouse. (They should tell you the is when you first head out) No markings "eye level" that say which Tee, but it's written on the cart path. Some Signs say "to next tee"; it would be nice for it to read the actual "next tee NUMBER" A couple of cool views from above the city, and a male deer, then an entire family of deer, almost ran me over...so there's nature too. The greens were gorgeous. Fairways could be better, could be worse. But seems like a great place to practice your game, not pay a mint, and focus on technique rather than "what you wear". I'm a 55yo female, played alone, and had no fear. I saw one person walking the course. he was Relatively young and seemingly plays there often. I am in NO SHAPE to walk this course. Seemed to be lots of hills/inclines/declines, Crossing of streets, and a couple tees were "not" right next to the prior greens. Glad I got a cart and left my push cart in the car! Because many hits were up hill, downhill, or blind...and I didn't always hit it straight down the fairway, I lost a couple of balls "in plain sight" off to the left or right Not in any woods or trees or brush.. just likely hidden under the fall leaves or deep grass. Alas. Tis part of the game No water hazards. I was not bothered by the sand. And lots of wide open space. I only got to 14 before turning in the cart by "curfew", so I'll def come back I suppose they could "pretty up" the place, but I'm sure that would mean higher prices They could re-fence all around to keep walkers from cutting across, but they've likely tried (unsuccessfully ) to thwart a kid who doesn't feel like walking a mile out his way after school to go around. Cart paths were kinda rough in spots. The carts will beep if you get too close to the greens. Clubhouse was clean and well lit. Snack bar was closed but there are QR codes on the course that says food can be delivered anywhere when ordered -will have to try that out one day I'll def be back
