Entry way before comic book back issue heaven !
J L.

One of the most unique experiences as a comic book collector because it actually feels like a fallout shelter! Don't be intimated by having to ring the doorbell or go down to the basement to get to back issue heaven! Comics are somewhat organized by .50, $1, $3, and $5. They also have a large number of completed sets that would make any avid collector drool. The owner, Richard, is super friendly and is the type of guy you want to support and succeed. I heard he has a grand official opening weekend so be sure to go and support- you might even get some half off deals. Half the fun is finding some golden gems here. I can't say it's organized since I saw the same issues in the 1 dollar bin as I did the 5 dollar bins, but again did I mention how satisfying it was to find a back issue my son was looking for when you do find it? Ask richard about the school and teacher program. Wish my LCS had this program....!!! Keep it up and congrats, Richard!

More full runs. I see you over there Predator.

This store had an excellent selection of back issue comics. Very helpful and the guy really knows his comics. Will definitely be back.

Very cool comic book store, it's like going to a fall out shelter but it's full of comics. He also had a lot of rare comics.

Not shocked to see they are now out of business…read more Kind of an odd experience. Popped up on a Google search and happened to be a shop I hadn't heard of before, thought I'd check them out. No new issues, at all, that I could see. All back issues. Lots of other memorabilia that was neat to see, most of the vintage stuff was non-comics related. The back issues I looked through were mostly 70s and 80s era. I didn't really catch any key issues. Owner makes a lot of claims about how much inventory he has (must not be in the store), how long he's been in business (weird since I've been living here 30 years and this is the first time I've heard of them), and how he mostly sells to other shops, but other shops are ripping me off (and he ran that line no less than 3 or 4 times while I was looking around.) It's a step above shops that only have in-print graphic novels and Funko-Pops, I guess. Books are well organized and clearly marked unlike some other shops where random boxes are the display of choice. I really can't think of a reason to go back. Excalibur has more back issues, current issues and graphic novels, so does Cosmic Monkey and Cloud 9. Future Dreams has everything, but needs an organizational assistant. Floating World moved to Lloyd Center. Any of these is a better shop.

Went in there to see if they had any special Pokémon cards. The guy there immediately told us to go…read moreto Fred Meyer. Didn't even give us a moment to say what we were looking for. he smokes in his shop so everything smells like cigarettes and what fun for the asthma.
