We stood at the host stand for TEN minutes being walked past by all the servers. Only one said "our host will be right with you". Meanwhile the hostess was sweeping up after a messy kid table for 84 years that did NOT have anyone waiting for it! Management needs to work on articulating priorities. Server was very nice and we know we always have to wait eons for food here and had that expectation. Expectation met. (Also pro tip - at the beginning of your shift jot down the current beers on tap makes life so much easier !) Ordered one of the simplest things- burger. It comes out like a burnt hockey puck. Pops Grill had over 4 stars on google and the pictures of the food looked good. So with excitement and high expectations we went for lunch. Bad decision. My daughter and I had cheese burgers and our buns were charred to the point of being burned on the underside but actually cold on the top sides. Our fries were cold and limp. The melted cheese on the burgers look like it had melted on the day before. My wife had the French toast. It looked like it had been deep fried, again looked like food from the previous day. Not the soft and lightly browned French toast at most other places. Bottom line food was terrible and will never go back again. Darn, had hoped of finding a decent place to eat locally. I had the fettuccine and my fiancé had the salmon beurre blanc, not surprisingly, these were insanely delicious as well. The wine and cocktails were the cherry on top. The best thing about this place? It's fairly priced. You can eat like a King and it won't break the bank. Just be sure to tip your waiter and send compliments to the chef. I said, five minutes before I can place my order? She said yes. So I walked out and got into my truck and pulled into the drive-through and placed my order within 90 seconds. Someone explain the logic behind that? The food was OK, it's a little overpriced for the portions that you get. I ordered a side of rice for four dollars that was enough for one person. Anyway, in the end, I got my food about seven minutes later, just by going through the drive-through. It is decent food at best and the customer service is not the best. I really had high hopes for this place, but it is what you would expect from any other fast food chain. And the steak was not moist at all. Chewy and rubbery.
