This practice went down the gutters in respect to patient care, especially after Hartford…read moreHealthcare Med. group took over, and changed the staff. I have been a patient there since 2014. In 2023 I had gotten ill and the doctor was very dismissive. You get test results through MyChart very quickly but any follow up conversation never happens or you have to chase the doctor. I have never been treated so poorly by a practice or a doctor. I have moved on to a different primary care provider last year.

He felt miserable all day. Hours later one of his sisters ended up in the ER, and guess what she tested positive for? Strep! She's feeling great now, having had started on antibiotics. My son wasted a day laying around because of the doctor's arrogance. This practice is good at finding available times to see patients, but that is pointless if they are willing to send patients away with an undiagnosed infection! Also, anyone considering this place because of Dr. Burkin: other than for the initial interview, we have never been able to see him! He never have any available times.

She is very amenable to working with her patients and their schedules, for example, she was able to squeeze me in for a last minute tele-appointment on a Friday. As a working mom with a full time job, this type of service is a Godsend. I wholeheartedly recommend her.

I wanted to wait a few days before I left this review so I could clear my head. I saw Dr Tabitha…read morebecause she was close to where I live. (1) I got to the doctor at 7:45 for an 8am appt. As a new patient I assumed there would be paperwork. No one was in the office and the door was locked. When I saw the lights come on at 7:58, I tapped on the window to get into the waiting room and the receptionist hollers at me "you have to wait two minutes until we open." What? I can't sit down? When you are sitting right there to let me in? (2) I came to the doctor with a need for a urologist, a neurologist, and a therapist. I am having some female issues and I was hoping she could give me a recommendation for a urologist. She looked at a picture I had from a previous surgery by a world renown doctor and said, "You have a prolapsed bladder." Huh? I have been to many doctors, urologists, and gynecologists and none of them have ever indicated that I have a prolapsed bladder. (3) I have severe endometriosis and told her I had had an endometrial nodule in a sensitive area. She said that wasn't possible until I showed her a picture I had of my insides from the doctor. Didn't have much to say after that. (BTW, the world renowned doctor is Dr Salgado in Puerto Rico. He is a Harvard lecturer on endometriosis. (4) I don't appreciate Christian prayers being displayed in a consultation room. If those are your beliefs, that's fine, but I don't need you to put up a poster about being a good Christian business woman. (5) I asked for standard bloodwork as this was an initial visit. I also need to get the levels of some of my meds monitored. She was reluctant to run a standard A1C, Glucose, Liver, Thyroid test although the size are SOP for a new patient. She told me that if I needed blood work, she would do it "this time," but in the future I needed to contact the doctor that needs the results and get a blood test through her. Why?!? When she decided she would do the blood tests, she couldn't find the form to send with me to do the tests *sigh* I will not go to or recommend this doctor.

I moved to queens ny, 4 years ago and I still make the 45 minute ride to see him with my medical issues. Hes a lovely and caring person and his staff are also friendly and caring. I hate to have a doctor make me feel like I am just a number in his practice. Or a doctor that has the personality of a blade of grass. Dr.D makes you feel special and can put you at ease.

The location is beautiful, two buildings with plenty if office space and decor to make you feel at home away from home. Or make it your new home! Dr Jose is probably one of the most down to earth physicians I have ever met. She has a way of making people feel at ease as well as getting them to laugh. Her personality is amazing! Her staff is very friendly and eager to help, you can tell they love their jobs and working there. Got to tour both buildings and as I've stated the decor is awesome, relaxing, soothing, you name it. Very well done. She does aesthetic services in one location and internal medicine in the other. The waiting rooms are very comfortable and one should feel at ease. Be prepared to be pampered and walk out feeling and looking your best! And definitely, be sure to ask her about the OMG shot. You won't be disappointed!

There were two receptionists "working", but neither of them took the courtesy to update us. Finally, I went up myself to understand how much longer they would make me wait (since it was the end of the day and I had to pick up my daughter from daycare). The receptionists were entirely unhelpful and didn't demonstrate any care for their patients/customers and just called Dr. Boris. He proceeded to argue with me and didn't even apologize for the excessive wait. I understand that emergencies happen, but it would have been right for the staff to warn about the long wait so we didn't waste time for an appointment we would eventually not have time to wait for. This doctor and his staff do not treat their patients with respect and simply didn't care.

I have been struggling with Lyme disease going on three years now and recently had a relapse of…read moresymptoms. Over this time period, I have been given a strong dose of antibiotics over this time period. Recently, many of the symptoms have come back and I went to this Doctor 4 times in the last two weeks. He could not figure out what is wrong with me and responds with "I don't know what to tell you" and "If I can't figure out what's wrong with you, then there is nothing wrong with you". Last time I went there with my husband and asked him to refer me to a specialist who deals in lyme and an immunologist who can check my immune system. Any normal doctor would recommend you to a specialist if they can't figure out what is wrong with you. Instead of doing that, he flat out refuses and tells me he "has the BEST test in the world for lyme" and it will only cost me 340 dollars cash. It was like dealing with a sleazy used car salesmen. I have real problems and have trouble functioning on a daily basis, and instead of referring me to someone who can actually help me, he tries to up sell me on some test (that if it was so great, then a specialist would perform along with other tests). He is a general practioner and he is trying to sell me on "the best test in the world" as if he didn't make enough money from billing my insurance 4 times in a span of 2 weeks. At this point, my husband, witnessing this sleazy con man, raises his voice and says "Are you kidding me? She has real problems and instead of helping her you are selling her on some BS. Just refer her to someone who can help her". He doctor storms out and then we both proceed to leave. We go to lunch and an hour later, we get a call from the local police department. Apparently, after we left, he opted the police and proceeded to LIE through his rotten teeth. He told them what happened and then added that my husband cursed at him and that my husband cursed at me, which never happened. My husband shouldn't have raised his voice, but he was defending me and this sleazy human scum actually lied to the police. Never in my life have I met someone so sleazy and crooked. This is the worst doctor I have ever come across. He is full of himself and knows little to nothing about medicine. Any good review on here is most likely written by him and I would strongly suggest that you are better off seeing anyone else but him AND that he should change careers because he would be much better at selling broken cars than practicing medicine.
