Where to begin.....this venue surpassed all that we could hope for. When my now DIL wanted to look…read moreat the venue I was unsure about it, because I was worried it wasn't fancy enough. I WAS WRONG. The chapel in elegant and cozy. We easily fit over 100 people without it looking empty or crowded. The cocktail hour which was held on the porch of the reception hall provided ceiling fans, roping, corn hole, bar, kitchen. It was the perfect set up. Then onto to hall. This is Texas so we served our food inside b/c outside was boiling hot but inside it was nice and cool. Even with the food service tables, we still have over 100 guest (15 tables) and ample dance floor. Just like the chapel, then space was perfect not empty looking and not overly crowded. We easily could have added another 50 guest and still have room. Leezet the coordinator made the day a breeze! She took care of all the little things so that we didn't have to worry about it. Daniel the bartender was friendly and helpful. We paid for the groom suite and bridal suite the night before the wedding and the extra day. This was a game changer! Setting up the day before with our wedding party and vendors making deliveries on Friday, allowed everyone to enjoy the day of the wedding. Our groomsmen went skeet shooting the morning of the wedding and no one felt rushed or stressed to get ready in a hurry. In fact, the wedding party is talking about having a reunion out there just so they can spend time together, mind you they didn't all know each other before the big day and now they are life long friends. The communication that the owners provide is exceptional! Now lets talk about price. You will not find a better venue or better price in a 100 mile radius, trust me, we looked. I would book this venue again and again. 10 out of 10.

Under Construction but Almost Ready to Host the 1st Event Creating Forever Memories!!!…read more Walking the grounds of the venue brings a sense of excitement; every inch of the property shows Tom & Teniah really put heart into their vision and created beautiful spaces to host events and create forever memories for couples. The ceremony space with the views, structure and what will be is breathtaking... we can't wait to see it completed! They've even designed a really cool indoor & outdoor bar area so the bartending team doesn't have to set up and breakdown stations... it allows for easy access during cocktail and/or dinner. How cool is that?!?! The reception hall is simply lovely with design, color and lighting. It's elegant and can be dressed up to any vision of those hosting their event at Hill Country Bliss Wedding & Events Venue. We've gotten to know the owners during their building process, seen the venue develop and simply cannot wait to begin collaborating with the venue team on future events. They'll provide the venue space of your dreams and we'll (Groove Line Productions) will provide the music and lighting! Oh and not to mention, they've even thought of the vendor team needs for load in/out, equipment storage, break area and parking! Simply thoughtful from every level of design. We're excited to celebrate grand opening day and making forever memories with Hill Country Bliss Wedding & Events Venue! We recommend touring this venue when making the decision for your event space and imagining what your day would be like here!

We stayed two evenings in the teepee's. Upon our arrival we were greeted and given a short tour…read more The teepees were clean and decorated adorably. The bathtub was by far my favorite part! There were however several issues. The I phone chargers they provided did not work. This wouldn't have been an issue if there were places we could have plugged in the chargers we had brought. We couldn't because there was not a free electrical plug. The microwave wasn't even plugged in because there wasn't a place to plug it in. The AC wasn't adequate for the teepee ( didn't expect it would be it is a teepee!) however the fans provided did not work at all and there was not an outside sitting area that we could sit and enjoy the evenings, stars or an afternoon picnic to escape the heat. The bathroom was amazing however it is not air conditioned and does not even have a fan and got REALLY hot mid day. Do not expect to use a blow dryer or place a fan because there is not one electrical plug in there. There also wasn't a mirror! We were given two half rolls of toilet paper and had to go to dollar general to buy more. If you stay bring a trash bag. There is one very small waste container provided in the bathroom teepee and nothing else. Not even a dumpster near by to dispose of your trash. Honestly while we enjoyed our stay we would not return. We camp a lot and had more "glamping" abilities in a state park.

The 360 views of lake LBJ and the horseshoe Bay Area at large are unmatched. Bob and his team are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was immaculate and impeccably well prepared upon my arrival. Very convenient and close to creature comforts as well as a feeling of calm and isolation. Multiple room styles to choose from, and all worth their weight in gold. Lovely even space with a well-thought-out and exquisitely exciting floor plan. Five-star location and service. Great place to stay!

It's pet friendly, so our dog came with us. It has its own private bath which is not the case for every unit, but I don't love the wet room concept overall. Easy walk to a few food spots. We paid to stay in The Wings and drove 3.5 hours for what was supposed to be my birthday getaway…read more Unfortunately, the experience was terrible from the moment we arrived. The unit was extremely hot, completely unusable, and we could not stay in it. We called immediately and asked to be moved, and were told the new unit was "much better" and "more upscale." We were then moved to Eagle's Nest Retreat, and after spending over an hour and a half trying to get settled, we walked into a unit that was absolutely unacceptable. There were bugs and stains on the ceiling, including a boot print, mildew throughout the tarp ceiling, and bugs/spiders crawling above the bed. We were bitten all night. The shower and bath were exposed on a walking path, offering no privacy or sense of safety. The wind was blowing around 22 mph during the night, causing the tarp ceiling to flap loudly and the entire unit to shake. It was impossible to relax or feel secure. The whole space felt dirty, neglected, and unsafe. I've attached photos from Eagle's Nest Retreat so others can see exactly what we walked into. For the price and the long drive, this was extremely disappointing. This was supposed to be a relaxing birthday retreat, but instead it was stressful, uncomfortable, and nothing like what is advertised. I would not recommend staying here.
