Good design work, good listeners, excellent technically.... Willingness to stage development details based on builder reviews and their needs (modular approach helpful). Compared to other firms we have worked with over the years we consider them worthy of our recommendation. read more

We just moved into the house we designed with Damon and his team at Falconnier Design, and could not be happier with the final product, and the entire work process. Damon and his team were with us from beginning to end, providing whatever support was necessary at the time. The initial design stage was the most critical, and due to the time and effort put in at that point there was minimal work to do later. Since we were living in Texas and building in Tennessee, our face to face time was limited, but extremely well utilized. We had two phone consultations and two in person meetings, with email follow up in between. The final design was in the words of our builder, "the most complete set of drawings he had ever had to work with". There were four minor questions during framing that were handled directly between Damon and the builder, with no involvement required by us. During the process and after our recent move in, every visitor and contractor has commented on how much they like the design and layout of the house. If you have a clear vision of what you want to build, and take Damon's advice backed by over 30 years experience, you'll be very happy with the result. read more

We very much enjoyed working with Damon and his staff. They helped us transform a 1946 building (six thousand square foot building) into three sperate rentable units. Four thousand square feet is used for a pediatric office. All the patients that visit the office love it. We are very thankful for Damon and Falconnier Design staff! read more

I have known Damon for over 10 years and when we needed plans to add a large screened porch, he was the first architect I thought of because I knew I could trust him. That's very important. Damon met with our entire family around our kitchen table one evening and asked my wife, two of our children ( a third is away at college) and me what we wanted in the design. He listened and asked questions to help us make initial design decisions. He took my wife and I to two finished projects so we could see various options. The project involved determining the best way to tie the replacement back porch in to the roof line and make it aesthetically pleasing. We got too options in our initial design that showed great thought on the options. Damon did a great job of explaining the options and the limitations of the different options. The initial deliverable was a complete set with four options since we couldn't make a firm decision. From these, he created a single conceptual drawing of our final decision. For the second step, we received six prints of the full stamped construction drawings and he recommended a qualified builder we are evaluating. Damon was always prompt for in person meetings and took my calls or worked with me promptly by text or e-mail which was much appreciated. read more

We needed a redesign for an area of our house into a small sun porch. Damon came up with a excellent solution turning that part of the house from a liability to an asset. His plan took a cramped space to a cozy, enjoyable one. It's attractive on the interior as well as blending into the exterior. We were very happy with his recommendations. read more

After interviewing several architects for our home remodeling, we selected Falconnier Design Company, and it was a GREAT decision. Damon, Chris, and Rachel are a talented and highly responsive team. Damon has an eye for design, and he listens carefully to the client and is focused on the client's desires. His suggestions were useful, but not pushy, and he makes it easy to work with his team. We were pleased about how quickly they provided the schematic design. He also helped us to select the perfect builder, which is not easy in the rural area in which we live. The prices for services are fair and flexible, and the team has gone out of their way to accommodate our schedules. read more

My husband and I were very fortunate to use the services of Falconnier Design. We had been looking at house plans for two years and could not find a plan to fit our needs. We even tried another architect with less than stellar results. We immediately felt at ease with Damon. He listened to what we wanted and designed the house with our budget in mind. By using his design methods he saved us twice what it cost us to use him! Architects are not just for the wealthy or big projects. He works on multi-million dollar jobs and small homes. You are treated the same whatever the price of your build. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone wanting a professional service done with integrity and respect to the client. read more
