If I could give you negative stars I would. For the public, below is the email I just sent to Falcon DJ Services detailing my wedding.
Clay and Ben,
I cannot say enough how angry and disappointed I am with what happened with your "dj" yesterday. Because of your scam of a dj business, my reception was nearly non-existent (had it not been for the photographer saving your dj's rear). So let me just tell you exactly what happened:
1. When your guy showed up (I didn't bother to remember his name) he asked who had the play list. Really?! Did we not spend almost an hour talking about this when we met in person?!!
2. He was dressed in a disgusting and dirty shirt with some weird colored stains and looked like he had just crawled out of bed.
3. When I walked in and saw him, and not Clay, as you had represented would be there, without looking me in the eyes, said that Clay was back in town at the office. I am calling bullshit on this one.
4. He had no idea how to even use the freaking microphone! He had no idea how to use the sound board and most of the reception party saw him drop the speakers at least twice. So don't you even dare try to blame me for any damaged equipment....you will lose that one.
5. He didn't know my name or the grooms.
6. His computer crashed, which understandable can happen, he had zero back up plan, and was not told that there would no internet available. I will be damned before I let a stranger on my personal home network. He looked at me and asked if I was "computer savvy"!The photographer stepped in, helped him run a diagnostic then plugged his personal phone up to the sound system and downloaded my wedding songs so that at least I could do that. Your buddy attempted to "announce" the songs but needless to say he could not quite accomplish it so I had to. Then the photographer still had to help him turn the speakers on.
7. After the wedding songs, I told your dj to pack up and just go home. I was at least nice enough to feed him lunch...you are welcome.
8. Your dj also spent the whole time using his phone to take pictures and record the reception. At one point he asked the photographer to take a picture of him. He was clearly told not to take pictures or use his phone yet he continued to do it.
I will NOT be paying you the remaining balance since I did not receive any services from you. I also want a full refund of the $250 that I have already paid you. Because of your scam of services, my wedding reception was ruined. I cannot get this day back and my guests who traveled a very long way cannot get their time and money back. What happened is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional and an absolute scam.
I also revoke any and all permissions of the use of any photographs and video taken by your dj at my wedding!!!
I have kept a record of all of our correspondences, and there are witnesses and photographs of yesterday. So I would appreciate it if you do the right thing and give me my money back.
A review update: Falcon DJ Services responded with an email apologizing for what happened and has given me a full refund. Thank-you. read more
