This little restaurant has the best falafels I have ever eaten! I am so impressed! I got the falafel bowl with salad. The falafels were fluffy and so flavorful! They were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The toppings were excellent with lots choices such as lettuce, arugula, beetroot, onions, chickpeas, cucumbers, tomatoes, lots of different peppers, etc. They also have delicious sauces like tahini, green parsley yogurt, and mango. What a wonderful place in the heart of Antwerpen! I passed by Falafel Tof almost every day and it has caught my attention that it is always full. So today, I decided to come in and it has not disappointed me. The service is extraordinary nice (they speak Dutch, French, English and Spanish fluently) and have been willing to help since the first second. They explained us the different options, including that the salad box menu has unlimited trips to the salad bar! I ordered the falafel salad menu, that comes with four (Big) falafel, a big basket of potatoes (not sure if they are fried, roasted or boiled) and a drink. I loaded my box with salad and start to eat. Full of flavor, the salad was outstanding. Cabbage, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, chickpeas and hummus made my meal very enjoyable. The potatoes, with Ali-oli sauce were top class. A second trip to the salad bar to taste different items (not shown in the picture) and ready to pay....only 9.90€!!! Popular falafel place in the turist area! Quite busy and I would recommend taking a seat outside if the weather is good. Fun part: you may choose your own toppings aside from the actual falafel. Go for the cauliflower. Try all the sauces on the table (you can have as much as you want!!). Share potatoes on the side as it's enough for two. The food was savoury and very filling... To me coming into this falafel bar it was a little unclear what the options were. There's a chalkboard behind the counter with drawings that will make you look like you're reading hieroglyphs :) You can try to ask the manager for help, but since it's such a small place it can get really crowded and puts the waiters under a lot of pressure- I don't think they expected this much succes. Anyway, the falafel is great (fresh, filled with spices and moist), and the veggies to go with it are of excellent choice! Antwerp, it's about time there were more veggie options! Agree with the other reviews. Second time to the place over two separate business trips. Am a vegetarian-leaning pescatarian, and it's a relief to find a small restaurant like this. On a good day, can sit outside the restaurant too. But first, you have food and presentation options for eating your selected filafel. My preference is the pita bread. And endless selection of toppings. Had frites on the side (those frites contributed to me entering filafel heaven). And I enjoyed sitting outside while pedestrians walked by on the cobble stone street. Also memorable both times I came that there was the same burly owner/manager who manned the counter. Such a gent. I really enjoyed this. I am writing from within the place. I got me the menu which is like 7euro and change. I got like 6 falafel balls and salads of my choice in a plate. I got potatoes and a drink complimentary. also ketchup mayo amba (mango sauce) and tahini (thina). I love the atmosphere. I love the music... "shall I stay or shall I go..." the owner is kickass. the drinks by the way are organic. the place puts emphasis on health it seems. the taste of the falafel is realllllly good.
