Huge surprise to find amazingly fresh and tasty Israeli food in Hong Kong!
We scouted this place out because our kids were desperate for some hummus and pita after eating noodles for a week, and we were thrilled to discover some of the most amazing Middle Eastern food tucked into a small, second-floor restaurant in Soho.
Food: awesome. We had almost every dish on the menu--falafel, hummus, pita, schnitzel, fries, lemon nana, etc. Our favorite, hands down, was the falafel. It was pitch perfect, with incredible flavor and texture. We also loved the fries (crispy and nicely seasoned) and the schnitzel (also crispy and well apportioned).
Service: also awesome. The wait staff could not have been friendlier, and they made us feel very welcome. This was especially important with three hungry kids in tow.
By chance, the (super friendly) owner was there, and he talked to us for a while about his vision for the food and his motivation for opening up the place.
Highly recommended! read more
