I came in my tallest (4inch) shoes and I still needed a good chunk of the dress to be hemmed. I don't know about you, but when I think about getting something hemmed I have a mental timeline that it won't even be thought about for 1-2 weeks MINIMUM; and then it MIGHT get done a week after that. Not Ms. Shay and Katie. I called with 2 weeks of wiggle room before the wedding, almost panicking. Ms. Shay was supportive and helped me calm down and kept reassuring me that there was plenty of time to get this done. I brought it in on Monday after work, she called me by the next afternoon. I thought I was getting a prank call. and it came out BEAUTIFUL. I couldn't even tell that it was originially meant for someone 5'7. The funky spandex-y material made ME nervous, but not for this dream team. I always struggle finding someone to hem my clothes but I will not be looking any further from now on. They're right next to Six Fifty :)

I am also writing this knowing there will be a reply blaming me somehow, and I truly just want to help another person who has never been to tailor before. I came to Tina's looking to hem my dress, adjust the waist, and adjust the top of the dress. It seemed like a complicated series of alterations so the price of 500$ seemed justified - especially if Tina was the expert. I read reviews and pictures looked fantastic. I am a bride on a budget for a small backyard wedding. When I came to pickup my dress I tried it on and the bustle looked great. The waist seemed perfect and while the top felt weird I blamed my undergarments. I should have brought someone with me. People also tell you to not freak out if the dress fits a little different compared to when it was clipped at the bridal store, so I paid in full. After trying it on in my room again days later...something did not feel right and I decided to get a second opinion from a bridal salon. After their head seamstress looked at the dress on me she recommended I ask for a refund. She was shocked and claimed it was unacceptable alterations. The hem IS COMPLETELY uneven. I did not notice but one side is higher while the other touches the ground. Not only this but the top needs to be redone. My dress is going to be extremely difficult to fix, and overall I will be paying more than the price of the dress just to make it not look embarrassing. I am a non-confrontational person and I am not asking for a refund; but I am only writing this so that if you are like me and on a budget trying to make your life easier, just suck it up and go to a boutique. Bridalzilla is a term everyone wants to avoid but I wish I followed my gut. If your alteration is complicated go somewhere else. Looking back there were several things that should have made me leave: 1. She is working from her home so it can be awkward. 2. I was not correctly measured 3. As he's taking my measurements he's writing them down without specifically stating what measurement belongs to what which was totally confusing for me because he did not write the measurements in order! At this point it was a complete mess. He was a nice man, but I don't trust he took my measurements correctly. Not to mention, when I called he said it would cost $20 and suddenly when I get there he up-charged me $30. I ended up getting re-measured elsewhere to double check the measurements he gave me. And majority of what he measured was incorrect. Waste of time, waste of money.

I needed it hemmed so i didnt have much of a choice. My dress was chiffon so i did hear that that fabric was hard to sew. Oh well, needed it anyway. Came out to about $200 just for my dress.... I came here thinking it was reasonably priced but boy did i make a mistake choosing this dress. Also paid for my daughter's dress to get taken in. It took about 3 weeks and i picked it up the day before the wedding. So when wedding day came, i noticed it looked like there was no adjustments made on her dress. More than an inch of extra material and to me, it looked the same as when i brought it in. Again, had no choice so she wore it. But i spent over $300 in services and it was a bit underwhelming. I do want to add that my dress was done excellent and even if it was "difficult to deal with", it was very well hemmed. I probably would not return because it wasnt the closest to me, and the experience was just alright. Not terrible, but not the greatest.

She is a horrible pet owner for letting this dog run around loose (people drive like idiots in this center,, its going to get run over) but also to let it loose knowing its aggressive! Completely aware its attacking people and does not care. This dog needs to be taken from her care. She is extremely rude and inconsiderate.

There…read morewere multiple obvious snags in every area that was altered, the stitching didn't align, and the work was extremely sloppy. The dress was taken in way too much, so tight that I could barely move and it barely fit at all. The shop owner even struggled to help me put the dress on. I didn't gain nor lose weight because it was a two-week turnaround. If you care about your clothes, do not bring them here for alterations. To make things worse, the fitting room has no privacy whatsoever, people outside can clearly see you while you're changing. Overall, this was a completely unprofessional experience, and I would never bring anything here again.
