I was not allowed to look at my apartment until the day before I moved in. I saw another to make my decision. I have dealt with mold due to leaking windows....not just leaking.... actual rain coming inside through window! In the 9+ months I have been here, I have asked for repair and mold testing but have been completely ignored. What they want to do is paint over the mold. That is it. And we have had ant problems in secondary bedroom...treated but they must be in the wall! The location is great but I can tell you I pay top dollar for this apartment and I should not have to live like this. Disgusting! MOLD IS VERY DANGEROUS TO LIVE IN. THE STAFF HERE FOR THE EXCEPTION OF 1 PERSON IS AWFUL. THE SENIOR PERSON IGNORES THESE ISSUES. As a real estate agent for 20 years, I know that this is illegal to have mold in these buildings. ALSO THE WATER AND SEWER BILL IS EXTREMELY HIGH HERE! I paid less renting a house than I do here. Will be moving as soon as possible.

I just completed my one year lease for this property and here is my honest review!…read more Let me start with the good. The property is beautiful! The cleaning crew really does a great job of keeping hallways and common areas clean. To the extent that they can. The maintenance guy (Bill) is awesome! Very prompt! Now the not so good! First thing. The build quality is horrible! I was told that there was concrete poured between each floor so that you wouldn't hear your neighbors above. That's not true at all. You hear EVERYTHING! Almost as though it's inside of your apartment. Walking. Water running. Arguing. You hear it all. I spoke with the leasing office on several occasions regarding this. Nothing changed! Secondly. I moved in June of 2024. I left for a 2 week vacation days after the move. Came back and there were rat droppings and holes in my moving bags. I put in a maintenance request and inside of the door that's in every unit, Bill found where the rats came in. There were rat droppings everywhere! I have never been more disgusted in my life! Never would I ever expect that from a property such as this one. It took several attempts but Bill fixed the issue and I had no more problems with it. Last thing. As the building began to get more occupied, there was an alarming smell of marijuana. I hosted an event for family and friends in the sun room and I was so embarrassed when my guest could only ask and wonder how does such an upscale apartment complex allow that? Prior to this gathering, I had not smelled marijuana in the building. Terribly embarrassing! This property may appeal to the younger generations that don't mind the noisy neighbors and marijuana smell. But for my money, I'll take it elsewhere. I cannot recommend this property.

You hear too much from your neighbor. I hear the toddler and baby when they cry (it's very clear )and I hear all the door slams. We lived at Mansions at Sunset Ridge for 2 years and had a major pipe burst/flooding incident…read moreduring the freeze that affected our garage, stairs, and secondary bedroom. Maintenance and contractors were in and out repeatedly with wet muddy boots during repairs, and I proactively documented the resulting carpet issues with management in writing months before move-out specifically so we would not later be blamed for damage caused by the repairs and flooding. Despite that, after move-out we were charged over $800 for "75% carpet replacement" based on alleged "pet odor." The photos they later provided were primarily of the exact same stair and secondary bedroom/closet areas previously impacted by the flooding and contractor traffic I had already documented with management back in February. What frustrated me most was that management never meaningfully addressed those concerns at the time, but later used those same affected areas as justification for replacement charges. We also retained move-out video documentation of the apartment condition. I understand apartments need to handle legitimate damages fairly, but charging tenants for carpet replacement tied to areas previously affected by flooding and repair activity after those conditions were already reported to management in advance feels unreasonable and extremely disappointing. I would strongly encourage future tenants to: * document EVERYTHING in writing, * save move-in and move-out videos, * and immediately report any maintenance-related damage or flooding issues. (Not that they care since it's a scam they run. I saw reviews like this before I moved in but decided to risk it. Bad idea). I am including pictures of the closet and stairs they claim is damaged with per odor. Mind you this is the carpet that was damaged by the pipe busting and contractors tracking in mud yet it's somehow pet related?

For future residents, be warned that the apartment complex has no elevators whatsoever..so moving into a new unit on the 2nd or 3rd floor can be long and stressful! I ended up paying almost double for my movers since it took them so long to transport all of my boxes and furniture! Also for anyone with older or disabled family members, the lack of an elevator should be a big factor in your decision to move here. I would recommend asking a lot of questions before you move in...I was unhappy to find out that the apartment had no coat closet, even though the floor plan online looked like it did. I was never shown a real floorplan, only online images and never confirmed this information with the leasing specialist.
