Stay away from these scammers! They destroyed my lawn and turned it brown. They charge you monthly but don't deliver monthly! You think they're cheap but you end up paying them more annually because they are the most crooked dishonest lawncare service I've ever seen. The first year I paid for a year and the continued to treat my lawn and charge me after the year was up. I paid for the next year and asked that them not treat my yard once the year was up unless I renewed. They continued to treat my yard and charge me anyway. I did not pay and told them I did not authorize treatment. I received a collection letter in the mail for services that I did not authorize. read more

My first 2 applications were awful. Didn't notice a change. I went with another vendor. Saw a fairway sign in my front yard but my motion cameras didn't go off. They were canceled so I thought. They charged me for 2 more applications that I didn't receive. Now, they sent me to collections trying to get money for a service I canceled. read more

Truly good things take patience. We had about a year where weeds died and there were brown patches until the healthy grass filled in. Now our yard is the best looking of anyone's on the street! Water and take treatments as they recommend and you'll be happy! Oh yes...you actually have to pay your bill. That's how most services work. read more

have had Fairway Lawns for many, many years at 4 different residences. While the first three (Cordova, TN, Conway, AR, and then Bartlett, TN) were awesome, the most recent (Lakeland, TN) has not been. Our home is a zero lot line and small. This winter when there was 3 inches of snow on the ground the tech showed up and treated the yard, when we questioned him because it was not going to do anything but sit on top of the snow, he said don't worry, you can call us back and we will give you a free treatment (that seems pretty wasteful to me, complete waste of product). When the grass started to turn green the grass between our house and our neighbors' homes was gone. Our neighbors' grass was gone as well, but only on the side of the house that was next to ours, their other side was full and green. Our front yard and back yard were bare and not coming in as it should. When I called and complained, the supervisor called and said he would come out, call before he did so we could be there, and we would look at it together. The next day, we came home with a note on the door that he had been there ---- NO phone call as promised. He told us that it as in the process of coming back, but sometimes it just takes longer. Longer than what ---- all of our neighbors already had nice pretty grass -- I guess our house was the only one on the street that had bad sun.......We have now switched services and paid over $500 to replace the grass on the side of the house. Since we have switched services, our grass in our front and back yard is now back to the way it should be. My comment is that technicians definitely matter because in our other homes we had the nicest, plushest, greenest grass on the block. read more

Fairway Lawns sprayed my lawn to kill a very moderate amount of weeds. Apparently the material sprayed was either too strong or too much, and all the sprayed grass died. Most of the grass not only turned brown and died but even the roots were affected so that they were not even visible, and therefore there was nothing to treat, water, fertilize, or mow. The yard had to be tilled and seeded or sodded. A neighbor suggested I plant turnip greens in all the dirt. Numerous contacts with several Fairway employees resulted in supervisors Stuart Kassler and Mr. Ackman (ph) both telling me their company had NOTHING to do with the death of my grass, that the grass had actually killed itself (my interpretation), and both rattled off 15 or so minutes worth of reasons why I should "be patient", let their company "fix" it, and they emphasized that in several weeks, months, or maybe by NEXT summer, the grass would be fine. That was unacceptable to me. One of the most disturbing outcomes of this debacle was that not once ever did any Fairway employee show any empathy or misgiving at my situation, but seemed insulted that I contacted them to try for resolution. Stuart Kassler told me he had 3000 customers and no way was he going to spend any time on my little yard. Fairway Lawn = Not Fair. read more
