They came out two years ago and did not really offer much advice on cutting my Magnolia and Tulip Poplar down. He just quoted a price and left. Unfortunately, I called weeks ago several times to ask about cutting down those same trees and got a call back today, three weeks later! The person calling was rude and disrespectful. I was attempting to voice my concerns about the foundation issues when cutting down a tree very close to the house. She spoke harshly stating, " I'm going to hang up because you want let me speak!" I apologized stating I was just trying to explain what I needed and why. She hung up in my face! I called other companies today and they were outstanding. Haley with Davy Trees was so nice and helpful. She listen to my concerns and worked with me and so did Jeff's Tree Service. Both were PROS! Arbor M.D. just didn't measure up on both occasions dealing with them! I will NEVER use them! read more

Outstanding work. I saw there sign on Gtown road and flipped the coin. Super glad I did! Even on a 4 day rain soaked lawn they didn't tear up my yard. Had one tree removed the other one cleaned out. They cleaned up all the debris and hauled it away. Showed up on time for both the estimate and job. Highly recommend them. read more

Called about having a large Ash tree in our back yard cut. They scheduled someone to look at almost a week later. Storms that day so they called and cancelled. Told me they would come the following week. Didn't show up and no call. Finally called me a couple of weeks later and asked if they could come. By that time tree had been cut by another contractor. Two star for dumping on REPEAT customer. I had them do some tree work at a rental house I had a few years ago and they showed up on time for estimate, cut the tree on the scheduled day, and did a magnificent job of cleaning up before they left. I had 3 large trees that need the canopy raised - I was given a detailed quote and when the crew came to do the work I was impressed by their professionalism. There was a mix up on what work they were supposed to perform. I showed them my quote sheet and they made sure that all the work was done to my satisfaction and even explained why one of my trees needed something other than what was prescribed on the work order. They stayed late to get all the work done and my yard showed absolutely no sign of any leaves or limbs. Any tree work you need, don't go anywhere else! read more

My wife and I have used Arbor MD on several occasions, and they always do GREAT work! They have trimmed problematic trees, and just yesterday they did a tree removal for us. First of all, Jeff is a certified arborist and he knows trees. If there is any way for a tree to be saved, that is his first priority. I can't say enough about the office staff - very professional, courteous, and efficient. Jeff and his folks get the job done, done right, and I can guarantee you that no one does a better cleanup at the end of the job. Arbor MD Tree Care was by far the greatest resource I could've asked far to do the job I needed. My small kitten, Milo, was stuck very high in a tree for over a day. I had exhausted all local resources - the Animal Humane Society, the Fire Department, etc - and was unsuccessful and losing hope. I called Arbor MD, however, and they were extremely willing and eager to come help. Both the owner and another employee showed up within an hour, with more than sufficient gear to do the job. They were friendly, helpful, and quick with the entire process. They ended up having to use a harness to get into the tree and get Milo down. While this was something I clearly would never have been able to do, they did it with ease. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. These men were very generous with their time and graciously did something outside of their typical services. I highly recommend them for all tree service needs. I am very satisfied with the pruning as well as the "redo" of my patio. The Pyracantha plants are a very nice size and look to be very healthy. The crew did a great job (considering the poor rainy weather) and left the yard in good condition. read more

I had a great experience! They removed a large tree that was precariously placed between my house and garage, plus had to move some wires out of the way. Everything looks great and they left it cleaner than when they arrived. I'd highly recommend using them if you need a tree cut down. Very professional and high quality work! read more

I'm not sure if they do a good job or not because they never returned a bid after looking at the project. Being in the real estate industry, I like to surround myself with great trades that I can rely on when needed and for a referral basis. I always use Woodland Tree Service, which is the best in the city of Memphis and any surrounding area, although Woodland was backed up with short notice. That being said I called a friend and he referred Arbor MD. He said he had used them several years ago and all went well, so I gave them a try. I called in and scheduled someone to come out the next day to give a bid. They looked at the job as scheduled but for some reason would never give me a bid to do the work. I called every day for a week and the lady answering the phone would give me a different excuse daily, it almost became comical. She was clueless and you could tell this wasn't the first time. Horrible, non-existent, customer service and wouldn't ever give them another thought! If you have been referred or somehow read this review, you need to lose their number ASAP! I will never call again and now my friend will never refer again! Piss poor service! read more
