Your just growing grass and plants. What a misguided thought. I was approached by the folks at Windyke Landscape regarding my lawn and landscaping. I was very skeptical, after all I had always done my own lawn and beds, why spend the extra money? After listening to the pitch, I agreed to the trial service. That was two years ago, and I have not regretted it. These guys are that good. WIndyke landscape is a professional service that everybody should consider. They have meticulously nurtured my lawn and shrubs over these past two years and now I have a "golf course" grade lawn and yard. With the perfect amount of care and science they have transformed my lawn into an outstanding work of beauty. Each service has a purpose for the long term benefit of my lawn and plants. Pre-emergent treatment, post emergent, exact amount of fertilizer, spot weed treatment, things I never considered while doing my own lawn. My husband and I moved to Cordova from Nashville and while it's been a few years we never found a regular Lawncare person here like we had in Nashville. My husband was cutting the yard in his free time (he actually enjoys it) but with increasing demands at work his free time was basically -- never. John introduced himself and explained to me his services and what he could do with my yard. He wasn't judgmental although he could have been. He was prepared with lots of ideas for what could be done to my yard, depending on our budget. He carefully inquired as to the reason for the recent lack of care making sure to reassure me that whether it was time or money, or BOTH, that he was willing to work with us in that area. I explained that my husband worked nonstop and funds as usual were running low (we are a single income family of 4), but I had a desire to get the yard looking nice again. Now, mind you, plenty of people have knocked on the door looking to cut the yard because like I said it was in visibly poor shape, and I'd listen to their pitch and take their card and then never call them. But John was different. He seemed to understand the stitch we were in and his offer for help felt genuine, coming with a quote for his services that for once felt doable and affordable for us. So I told him I would speak with my husband and contact him the following day. I reached out the following day and the next day he was there with all his equipment, getting to work. We live on a corner lot so our front and back yards wrap around, and it's really quite a lot at the end of the day, and it was very overgrown at this point (When I showed him the backyard I prefaced it with "welcome to the Jungle" lol) John came and he conquered. He charged us an incredibly fair price, making good on his promise to help in that area. Payment was super easy with cashapp. The yard looks fantastic! I can tell that he really takes his time and that he has an impressive attention to detail. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Stepney Lawn Care! I'm so glad John knocked on our door when he did, and we are thrilled with the results. My husband found Dorriety Landscape online and called Tony, the owner, to discuss our problem. Tony came out and spent quite a bit of time with us learning about our situation. We also needed to revamp our landscaping in our backyard (due to the poor drainage) and discussed ideas that would work nicely with our three large dogs. Tony came back with a very detailed proposal that included three price tiers which made it so much easier to stay within budget. He designed a beautiful space for us to relax and he corrected the drainage issue. Our backyard is now our little haven and a place we enjoy being after a hectic day. We had a family reunion scheduled and he came back twice to feed our flowering plants so they looked amazing for our event. Our guests thought our backyard looked fantastic and we have Tony to thank for that. He also built a stone wall and patched our stone walkway.
