It was pretty busy and lots of people parking in front on the entry way to do book returns, I guess. The library was bright and clean inside. I just went and looked for a book, found what I needed, and did self-checkout. On my way out I noticed a table with diapers, spices, and paw paws. I wasn't sure what it was about, but I went back to the desk and asked the lady at the counter. The spices and the paw paws were free for the taking. I am not really familiar with Garam Masala, and it was a little packet stapled to pages with history, information, and recipes. So cool! I had also never tasted a paw paw before so I took one of those, too. Their sign indicated they were best eaten same day so I tried it when I got home, it was really good. I will have to see if my regular library has something like this.

There are rooms one can book for meetings or gatherings, complete with whiteboards, projectors, and hdmi cords for viewing. There are other libraries that have multiple floors with kids sections and tech rooms. This location has everything on one floor.

These events fill quickly through their online events calendar form, so we were glad to have the opportunity to grab some spots. I was disappointed to see that not everyone who signed up attended because participation is so highly sought after. The event itself was nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the two hours of painting and hope to finish later with our own paints at home as it wasn't quite enough time to tackle the whole painting. This branch is not my favorite of the public library for a couple of reasons. 1) there is a lot of blank space in the library; it's not very cosy or inviting. 2) Parking is a BEAR. Until the city as a whole becomes more walkable/metro accessible, it's unreasonable to have a library with paid parking. It makes it much more difficult to choose to frequent this branch.

You can place holds online and they will email you once ready. I pick this location as my home base because I frequent the CWE area often but you can pickup at any location. AND- they have broad selection of ebooks and audiobooks as well. All accessible through then libby app on your phone/ipad and even your kindle This location 3/5- parking is very inconvenient although they have a couple spots for pickup. This is also a loud location and often has disruptions so not the best place to study or settle down. Other 5/5- the staff is phenomenal, so kind. I have used their notary services several times and they are so helpful. Make sure to call ahead for the notary!

I did drift away on my Kindle for awhile, but having returned this year, I have only good things to say about Ferg's efforts to make a library that serves readers and the community every day. Most people are accessing the internet and using services like fax and copying. We need that here! Some things can't be done on a smartphone, or without one. I was pleased as a reader to find a great new books section, with a wide variety of offerings beyond "best sellers". The library has decent stacks, and books rotate with a group of similar libraries in the region. Book clubs meet here, and though I don't participate now, I can see myself doing so someday...maybe soon. The staff is warm and helpful, even when the line for computers is long. It's a great environment to grow kids' learning, too. A+.

There is a large parking lot out front, and designated parking spots for curbside orders and book drops. Upon entering the inside I noticed how new, clean and organized this branch looked. They have a display stand with flyers of upcoming events and resources. They have plenty of seating, computers, and quiet areas you can utilize. The kids library is sectioned off in its own separate area of the library. The librarians were so kind and helpful. They got me together as i misplaced my library card! I will definitely be back to this location!

I came here to vote and it was done wonderfully. I came here early, and every time I drove by in…read morethe time leading up to my visit, it was packed! I came early the day before Election Day (730am) when the polls opened at 8. It was raining, but they let us inside early to prevent us from standing in the rain. We were wrapped through the aisles, which I appreciated. There were already 100-150 people in front of me. Staff members of the library were super accommodating and friendly.
