There are so many books here you could stay all day and still want to come back tomorrow to keep looking. The upstairs is strictly a children library which is nice as sometimes kids have a harder time whispering! It also gives children a space they can go and really enjoy books with ohhs and ahhs. The Children's library also has puppets, trains, dress up clothes, etc. We live in Troy and while the Troy library is our normal stop, about once a month I will take my little one to Collinsville Memorial Library because it is just that great.

Not only do they have multiple computers for use, they have a hotspot that you can check out for a month at a time. News papers, magazines, you name it !!! Last year around Halloween they had a ghost hunt in there at midnight it was so much fun. Now they have a Library Crawl going on during the month of October, where you visit Illinois Librarys and get a passport stamp. Sooo much fun. The staff is super helpful, so don't be shy.
