There were plenty of cool flea market clothing finds but we were mostly attracted to the art, much of which had Cincinnati themes. Our daughter and her boyfriend just moved into a new place, and they got a few pieces of unique art, including a Findlay Market painting, to hang on their walls. Washington Park was well maintained and clean. There were lots of park benches and the shade from the big trees added to the ambiance. The flea market was a great way to spend an hour or so.

I know they do a lot for members of the community with many of the items that are donated. The store is located inside of a 2-3 story house where furniture is on the first level and clothing and shoes are on the subsequent levels. They have a huge collection of vinyl records. If you're in the market for gently used Christian books for a great deal, I'd recommend this thrift store. I think a lot of the donations come from Church members. Also, I think this thrift store is cleaner and more well organized than other larger thrift stores I've been to in this city. I mean, it's in a house and it's a pretty casual set up but you can definitely find some gems.

They also have large book and toy bins that you can dig through. It can be difficult to reach the items at the bottom but it's kinda part of the fun of thrifting. They had holiday décor, lamps, furniture, planters, rugs, picture frames, CDs, and vinyl records. The prices were very fair, and unlike some thrift stores. My biggest complaint is that they write the prices directly on the items with Sharpie. It's especially frustrating on wooden pieces because it's impossible to remove, so I'm taking off one star for that. The parking lot is also usually a tight fit. On my last visit, I bought some collector's cups, a painted wooden duck, a barely used White Barn candle, a vintage Care Bears mug, and a green marble plant stand. Most of the smaller items were only $1-4 each. I'll definitely keep coming back because there's almost always something worth taking home.

I walked in through an overhead door with plastic strips hanging in it. I went in search of some vases and I was able to find them. What I love most about the thrift stores I visit is the clothes I am able to find. This store had a really poor selection of clothes and shoes. I did see a pair of boots I liked but the had them marked at $45! That is crazy for a pair of Durango boots at the thrift store. I bought my three vases and nothing else. I will not be returning to this location as there is nothing really for me there.
