I feel that the technology and science aspects were very helpful (I don't know anyone else who used Blackboard before college!). I had a great experience going through the drama program 6th - 8th grade. I loved going to Catalina, Astro Camp, SeaWorld, and going on snowboard trips. The campus is beautiful now. SJDL has truly been more than just a school to us; it has been home. The most beautiful part of our experience has been the journey in faith. Watching my children grow not only academically but spiritually has been such a gift. Faith isn't just taught here; it's lived every day. Over the years, we have met incredible families and built friendships that will last a lifetime. Our children have formed strong bonds with classmates, and those friendships have grown year after year. There is something very special about being part of a community where everyone genuinely cares about one another. One of the things I have always appreciated is the small class sizes, usually around 15 to 18 students. It allows teachers to truly know each child, not just their name, but their personality, strengths, and areas where they may need extra support. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure every student feels seen, supported, and safe. Knowing that safety is always a top priority gives parents incredible peace of mind.
