Stuck too towel
Bryce N.

Hope you like wasting your precious vacation hours. Because you better be ready to wait two plus hours to check in because management cannot staff the hotel properly. The staff was working their hardest and needs a raise for their attentiveness and ability to handle the dumpster fire handed to them. The management is the fall of this establishment. After all the wait we were given 2! Complementary generic water bottles!!!! Update- water is like warm, towel dirty with sticky thing and hair attached, no conditioner. Avoid this place like the plague

Broken dresser

From the onset, this place seems pretty nice, but our room specifically was not great. We had an ant problem, a random centipede in our bed, dirty & stained sheets, the floor was sticky, a lamp was completely broken, lights didn't work or were burnt out, the shower door handle was broken, loose hardware in the shower and we had a limited supply of toilet paper. I wanted to be sure the front desk knew about the lamp when we first arrived so we wouldn't be charged for it. All the woman said was, "you're good." No apology, no offer to fix it, just pretty much blew it off. It would have been nice to have more light as to see where the ants were coming from when we discovered them on our last night (same area of broken lamp.) If this was a 1 or 2 star hotel I wouldn't be as shocked or even leave a review. You usually get what you pay for, however - for the amount we paid to stay here - I truly expected better. We will not stay here again, and probably not at a Fairfield in the future if this is what 3 stars gets you. The good: The breakfast in the morning was decent and it was located closed to plenty of restaurants and to the expressway. About a 25 min. drive into Nashville.

Roof that was the VIEW

I rent a room 4 days prior to showing up to hotel on app. I get there check in, lady that checks me in doesn't say anything about the room at all just checks me in, I unload everything and head to room to find out it isn't the room I reserve. Go back downstairs and get told that the room isn't available that the app has been double reserving rooms. Again, I wasn't told this when checking in, I had to ask about another big room and also ask for a discount and was denied. Was told by the manager (that is no longer there) that this happens all the time. We finally get to go to the new room that when the curtain was open had NO VIEW (that I asked for) IT was a roof. (See pix) The AC when turned on Squealed loudly, light bulbs blinking, Medication laying on floor (that my 4-year-old found), Cheese sticks in refrigerator. We head out and leave my oldest there and ask for maintenance to go up and replace light bulb and to grease the ac, when they leave the room my oldest calls and said they changed bulb but didn't look at ac. We return and ask desk and was informed that both were taken care of (lied to). I call down when I get to room and then get told that they are all loud. (a lot of BS here) Not to mention they had nothing to say about the medication being found. (I thought these rooms were cleaned) Hot tub/Whirlpool whatever you want to call it only worked the first night of our 3 days there. (Pool and hot tub were the reason for the stay since we are local) Was told that they didn't know what was wrong with it. One night Pool was warmer than hot tub. Got charged for WIFI, and it didn't half work, and then get told by management that they can't take it off, to contact corporate. (Which there is no communication there either). I also Opted out of my room being cleaned, she even asked at check out, Didn't work as we came in to have beds made, floors vacuumed, toys moved, items moved, ect. (I am here to stay when I say NO house keeping that's what I mean.) I reached out to the GM at this Hendersonville location, and she responded back quickly saying she was sorry and that she would comp one night and that the manager that we spoke to was no longer there. I responded back right away, and she fails to respond. I reach out 2 days later and still no response. All I wanted to know was how to go about getting my free night you offered. If you visit this location GOOD LUCK, Staff and Management Not very communicative.

It was the end of the year and you know what that means? Getting as many hotel points as possible…read moreso you can hold on to status/get bumped up in status. It's a silly game but it needs to be played. Before I used to go all out. Now, I go for the bare minimum. No use going in debt to have a made-up status. So, my usual MO is to look for a nearby area I haven't spent much time in and book a couple of nights in a hotel that's not going to break the bank. This way you get a new experience while performing the necessities of maintaining breakfast perks. I hadn't been to Hendersonville in years. So, Hendersonville it would be. Even off peak times during the holidays can be tricky, so I booked a beginning of the week stay. I'd read that parking can be tricky (and I didn't want the headache) so I took a rideshare to the hotel. First impressions: not bad. It looked decent from the outside. Second impression: woof. The desk clerk could have used some holiday cheer. She was neither pleasant nor helpful. Begrudgingly, she worked through my status script and sent me on my way. Third impression: ehh. A loud family was screaming (like, 3 members) in the hall a few doors down from me. Fourth impression: heebie jeebies. The desk chair was filthy, as in laden with crumbs (I texted the management who apologized after the fact but did not move me). Fifth impression: um, what? Multiple red streaks along the walls of the bathroom (along with handles falling out of the wall). What the actual... ? I should have gone home. Had I checked the bed and it was anything but pristine, I would have. The bed passed the check. I was there for two sleeps (and had arrived in the early evening). If I kept my socks on and only sat on the bed and checked the towels for cleanliness I could make it through. But reading the above as preamble to a hotel stay doesn't bode well. I made it through without any further incident thus the extra star. It's the holiday spirit. It was definitely not a comfortable stay.

They had lots of breakfast options and mixed up the hot foods. This was appreciated as I get bored with food and the variety each morning helped. The halls were a bit loud and we had to run the fan all night for some white noise, but a minor inconvenience. We will definitely stay here again.

It also came with a coffee maker and had coffee and tea provided. The beds were extremely comfortable and came with 3 pillows. The service was excellent and the surrounding area felt safe. The only downside was that breakfast is not included and it's not your typical "buffet" breakfast. The hotel has a breakfast bar in which you pick what you want and pay extra for. We waited a little while for my dad's breakfast to be made and it was fine for what it was. Nothing to write home about, but certainly not gross or poor quality. Additionally, you are not given any extras. In the bathroom, you are given shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. Overall, the hotel and service were quite nice! I would definitely recommend getting breakfast elsewhere, but would stay here again!

If I could give this place negative stars I would…read more Traveling through town and had booked a room via Priceline. When we arrived (around midnight), we found a sign on the door stating that there were no rooms available even with a reservation. We buzzed in and the guy behind the desk said they couldn't honor any reservations because they were full. He then tried to blame Priceline saying that we had to call them because they are "notorious for this kind of thing." Thankfully, he offered to call around and see if he could get us another room. I said that would be great thanks, and he then told me the only place he was willing to call was 15 minutes away and they can't honor the Priceline price. I asked him to call anyway so he picked up the phone. He didn't dial or even put the phone to his ear and then placed it back on the receiver after about 20 seconds of just looking at us. We left and got our own hotel elsewhere. I'm not sure what's going on at this hotel or what the guy behind the counter was on, but I was disgusted. Take your business elsewhere!
