Our room was damp and musty. I can't believe it wasn't caught and corrected before our arrival.

Rooms have full size refrigerators. Breakfast in the morning is more than adequate. They only service the room every other day so be aware of that and when they do it's only the bathroom. Cleaned the bathroom and replaced the towels. I think if you want full service every other day you'll have to pay extra. When I went to check out at 8:00 in the morning there was no one at the front desk. I had to catch my flight out of MSP so just left.

We had selected another hotel, I will not name here, that turned out to be smelly, old, dirty, run down and unsafe. My husband left that hotel in the middle of the night and drove over to Home2 Suites where he was warmly welcomed by Sarah Rolstad the Assistant General Manager. Sarah helped my husband book a room for our small family (two adults, 1 French Bulldog and 1 English Bulldog) for a check in the next day. We arrived on a Sunday to a clean, brightly lit lobby that smelled fabulous. The room, first floor as we requested was actually ready EARLY and was impeccably clean, fully stocked and nicely laid out room. Housekeeping is kind, accommodating and courteous. Breakfast-coffee is always brewed, hot and fresh with tasty food options to choose from. Excellent pet facilities located on the back side of the property-clean, WITH POOP bags well stocked. We will be staying Home2 Suites for over a week-best decision was getting up in the middle of the night and meeting Sarah to assist with our booking. Thank you SO MUCH Sarah, appreciate you! To anyone reading this-do not hesitate, book a room!

So I normally don't review hotels unless they are exceptional as I travel a lot on business …read more This is a nice enough hotel . But this review is about Logan at the front desk . Ever arrive at a hotel and check in is a half hour ? They want 14 signatures , plate number, blood type., mother's maiden name ...well you get the picture . Meanwhile you are exhausted and just want a bed, This was seamless . I told Logan I was dog tired . Could I get a room on the ground floor near where I am standing ? And just like that all wishes granted in a blink of an eye and with a smile . If there was a you tube video instructing people at the front desk how to greet guests Logan would be the star . One of the best check ins I've ever had Check it out

I've been to the Residence Inn a few times. This particular room was excellent. Some of the others are not quite as nice, but they all have a full kitchen. If you are not happy with your room, be sure to check with the front desk to see if there is another room available and they will put you in another room. The breakfast buffet is excellent. There is a lot of variety and it varies from day to day. I think the weekends might be just a little better. On one of the weekend days they had biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, and some breakfast potatoes. They of course had all the other standard things like cereal, oatmeal with various toppings, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice. During the week breakfast goes until nine. But if it's a little after nine, you still might be able to get a few things like yogurt, fruit, coffee, and maybe more. On the weekends breakfast goes until 10.

At this property's price point, perfection should not be expected--the back door card reader didn't work, parking can be a nightmare with multiple trucks with trailers parked every kind of way but correctly in a marked spot, cleaning didn't consistently occur on the days I was told at check-in, and half the washers/dryers were out of service. The front desk person who checked me in forgot to have me fill out a form, so I was charged taxes that should have been removed. More importantly, if problems occur, how they are handled is essential. The most important one, the billing issue, was thoroughly worked through by the on-site team (despite my getting the runaround from Marriott corporate, which should not happen, especially for a Platinum/Lifetime Gold member). The care and concern the team exhibited has earned them five stars from this Yelper!

They tried to nickel and dime you and charge you for undisclosed fees without any reasoning from the second you walk in the door. They threaten to tow your car, which is a wild first impression for a customer, service experience, particularly when you're going to be a long-term guest. The staff lies incessantly and seems to have no clue what they're actually doing. The hotel is so poorly mismanaged. It's ridiculous. Really really disappointing experience at town place. Ignore the rate online because they're gonna keep charging you once you walk in the doors. Also, they have a firewall which blocks streaming connectors, which is really annoying and needs to be fixed. Further, their hotel Internet doesn't work and I had to call the hotel multiple times to get it fixed of which they said they try to get it fixed in a couple days. When you're trying to work out of a hotel, sometimes you need Wi-Fi. This is something that they have as an amenity, so pretty ridiculous when they can't even get it to work in 2025. Honestly, the worst experience I've ever had in a Marriott property. The owners and management of this place should be deeply ashamed. The halls such are also very dirty and bugs and vermin were also seen scurrying about. Absolutely disgusting. Also, the hallways all smell like weed.

Then I also find out that there is no ice machine that's functional on the second floor. Normally it's not a big deal but I just got done working a 25 1/2 hour shift. I really don't wanna go very far for my ice. Interesting enough I poked my head into the workout room and I see that one of the two machines still needs to be programmed. I'm starting to notice a trend. I also see on my check-in form that it says to check in with the receptionist to see if your reservation has breakfast included. A.k.a. it's not free!!!!!!! really Hilton???? I really like Hilton hotels and I think Paris does an awesome job with her role in daddy's chains, but I feel like she can splurge a little bit better yet fix a few things on this hotel! Even walking into the room it was big it was spacious. The bed were comfortable, but it just felt empty and cold. Maybe I'm just being picky, but I'm pretty sure I stayed in a comfort suites that was equally as nice and comparing a Hilton to a comfort sweeps should not be on equal playgrounds in my opinion. Oh also, why are the towels on a rack in the shower above the bathtub? Weird!

Which is to be expected but I didnt know. This place is showing its wear, especially where my friend stayed on the first floor. But I imagine that it to be expected. The positives- the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms had really nice bedding. the temperature of the room was relatively easy to regulate. The negatives: I didnt realize there was no free breakfast- buffet only. This is not in the least helpful for someone who wants to eat quickly and get on the road with a dog. Also the coffee in the room was horrible. Many things were just showing their age. Had I not been doing this from the car, I could have researched this and seen that there was no breakfast and we could have chosen another spot. My fault perhaps, but we knew we couldnt make it comfortably back home. Personally I wouldn't choose a Hilton garden again to stay in. But I have to emphasize- the staff were super nice. EXCEPT being transferred to someone when I was done making the reservations for some sort of Hilton sales pitch- that was annoying AF!! Do better Hilton.

As a vegetarian, I did not find much food for me at the restaurant and I had to apologize and leave manager was friendly and recommended me to go to at the Galleria. What prompted me to write this review is that when I arrived there were three people at the front desk. There was one lady who looked very upset. Then the European lady who was professional with me, and I noticed her name tag was upside down and she apologized. My big question is she's right there with two other colleagues couldn't they tell her the same thing that I brought up! And these folks are the faces of the front desk! I have seen more decent service at two star hotels. I noticed the tough staring lady gave me this evil look and I did not like that vibe. Otherwise the place has a shuttle that run every half hour. Club M is a private membership only. I wanted to do but it's about $30 a day I'm going to the office. I do not wanna spend $30 to go to the lounge. The fitness center looks decent and we center is next to a very big pool. So Wi-Fi is technically free but for baseline if you want to use it to stream, you have to pay another fee so I don't like all of this pennypinching but then again it's a hotel.
