    I love their festive decor!
    Sunny R.

Cute, cozy, conveniently located and welcoming employees! Of course, they had me as soon as I walked into the lobby and saw the festive holiday decorations. I also had some boxes sent to the hotel and they went out of their way to help me locate them when they were lost by the delivery company. Even though this location is near the freeway, my room was completely quiet. I slept really, really well. The bedding was comfortable and the room had everything I needed. I loved how affordable this hotel was as well. I really felt like they offered a lot of value for the price.

CLEAN, and a lot of amenities. Gym, spa, indoor pool, great free breakfasts! Rooms are an odd shape and set up, but it gave you space, microwave, fridge, wet bar... 2 crt TV's wired and wireless internet. FREE! They have coupons to some really good local restaurants, you need to ask for them at the counter. Great location, (close to main roads, freeways and walking distance to Bloomington mall & very good liquor store!) 15 minutes to the Mall Of America and 20 minutes from the airport. Do not bother with the sushi place in the parking lot.

    2 Queen sized beds!

I recently stayed here for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. When I first arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff who had me checked-in in less than 2 minutes. My room was on the fourth floor overlooking the freeway (which actually was really nice). My room had a desk and sink area to make coffee, a living room area with a tv, a sleeping area with 2 queen sized beds and another tv, a sink/makeup area, and a bathroom. I'm a neat freak when it comes to inspecting my hotels before I trust staying somewhere and I'm happy to say that Springhill Suites went above and beyond my expectations. They also have a complimentary breakfast downstairs that starts at 6:30am. It was a full spread, which was nice because that meant I didn't need to go searching for a place to eat and less money that had to be spent. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, a potato and sausage with veggies, english muffins, croissants, muffins, cereals, oatmeal, fresh fruits, etc. They also had a nice drink selection: coffee, milk, water, tea, juices, etc. Lastly, they have a shuttle that you can take to and from the airport, as well as a few places in the area such as the Eden Prairie Shopping Center.

Stayed here for a two day business trip and was very happy with the overall experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean, and the shower had good water pressure. That's pretty impressive for a hotel because sometimes you're can barely get enough water out even for a quick shower. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it's located right next to the highway, so it's fairly loud. It's nice for convenience to get around the area but if you like a quieter night this may not be for you. If that isn't a deal breaker you should definitely check it out. If I visit the area again I would stay here. The breakfast was good too! And you won't need to pay any extra for it. I can't leave out the cookies in the afternoon either! Smells so good!

Absolutely amazing for the price. The room was a lot bigger than expected and there's a really good sushi restaurant across the parking lot.

We had selected another hotel, I will not name here, that turned out to be smelly, old, dirty, run down and unsafe. My husband left that hotel in the middle of the night and drove over to Home2 Suites where he was warmly welcomed by Sarah Rolstad the Assistant General Manager. Sarah helped my husband book a room for our small family (two adults, 1 French Bulldog and 1 English Bulldog) for a check in the next day. We arrived on a Sunday to a clean, brightly lit lobby that smelled fabulous. The room, first floor as we requested was actually ready EARLY and was impeccably clean, fully stocked and nicely laid out room. Housekeeping is kind, accommodating and courteous. Breakfast-coffee is always brewed, hot and fresh with tasty food options to choose from. Excellent pet facilities located on the back side of the property-clean, WITH POOP bags well stocked. We will be staying Home2 Suites for over a week-best decision was getting up in the middle of the night and meeting Sarah to assist with our booking. Thank you SO MUCH Sarah, appreciate you! This stay was no exception other than one minor hiccup. All of the hot breakfast offerings were cold. The person in charge said he was a "fill in" and learning on the job. Also, the juice machine was having a fit, and spraying water across the counter. The breakfast offerings were the same as we've experienced at other locations, at least one meat, potatoes, eggs, juice, waffles, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, breakfast breads, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. What I like about Fairfield's breakfast, if you're staying multiple days, they have different meat selections each day. I always welcome the chance to eat a pound of bacon for free! C'est la vie. Stuff happens. I still enjoyed my stay, The bedding was wonderful. I will remain loyal.

There is a lot of variety and it varies from day to day. I think the weekends might be just a little better. On one of the weekend days they had biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, and some breakfast potatoes. At this property's price point, perfection should not be expected--the back door card reader didn't work, parking can be a nightmare with multiple trucks with trailers parked every kind of way but correctly in a marked spot, cleaning didn't consistently occur on the days I was told at check-in, and half the washers/dryers were out of service. The front desk person who checked me in forgot to have me fill out a form, so I was charged taxes that should have been removed. More importantly, if problems occur, how they are handled is essential. The most important one, the billing issue, was thoroughly worked through by the on-site team (despite my getting the runaround from Marriott corporate, which should not happen, especially for a Platinum/Lifetime Gold member). The care and concern the team exhibited has earned them five stars from this Yelper!

The staff lies incessantly and seems to have no clue what they're actually doing. The hotel is so poorly mismanaged. It's ridiculous. Really really disappointing experience at town place. Ignore the rate online because they're gonna keep charging you once you walk in the doors. Also, they have a firewall which blocks streaming connectors, which is really annoying and needs to be fixed. Further, their hotel Internet doesn't work and I had to call the hotel multiple times to get it fixed of which they said they try to get it fixed in a couple days. When you're trying to work out of a hotel, sometimes you need Wi-Fi. This is something that they have as an amenity, so pretty ridiculous when they can't even get it to work in 2025. Honestly, the worst experience I've ever had in a Marriott property. The owners and management of this place should be deeply ashamed. The halls such are also very dirty and bugs and vermin were also seen scurrying about. Absolutely disgusting. Also, the hallways all smell like weed.

What prompted me to write this review is that when I arrived there were three people at the front desk. There was one lady who looked very upset. Then the European lady who was professional with me, and I noticed her name tag was upside down and she apologized. My big question is she's right there with two other colleagues couldn't they tell her the same thing that I brought up! And these folks are the faces of the front desk! I have seen more decent service at two star hotels. I noticed the tough staring lady gave me this evil look and I did not like that vibe. Otherwise the place has a shuttle that run every half hour. Club M is a private membership only. I wanted to do but it's about $30 a day I'm going to the office. I do not wanna spend $30 to go to the lounge. The fitness center looks decent and we center is next to a very big pool. So Wi-Fi is technically free but for baseline if you want to use it to stream, you have to pay another fee so I don't like all of this pennypinching but then again it's a hotel.
