Just... a tooth deciding it had had enough. Thankfully, my dentist and his staff were literally about to close up for vacation, but they squeezed me in. And this visit confirmed something I've already been feeling since becoming a patient here: I am absolutely in the right dental office. Dr. Rosinski and Val must have done this a thousand times. They were calm, patient and completely unfazed, which helped me stay calm too. And there were some BIG shots with some BIG scary-looking needles involved, yet somehow I didn't feel a thing. How is that even possible?! They made a mold for my crown and Val fitted and placed a temporary. She kept checking it, adjusting it and checking it again until it was perfect by her standards. I couldn't really tell what was happening at that point because I was buried under sunglasses, dental tools and approximately 47 other pieces of equipment, but somehow they pulled it off. And now? I have zero issues with the temporary. I've gone to some truly wonderful dental practices over the years, but this office is something special. They genuinely care about their work, they care about their patients, and you can feel it. So, broken tooth and all, I walked out feeling pretty darn lucky. And when I go back for the actual crown, I already know it's going to be a walk in the park. Well... a walk in the park with a very large dental chair (and actually next door to a giant, amazing park!) Huge thanks to Dr. Rosinski and Val for taking such good care of me!

Husband & I were there on an evaluation/treatment program offered for Veterans. This in itself speaks volumes of this group's acknowledgement of military service not often seen & is deeply appreciated. This is a welcoming, friendly & efficiency orientated dental clinic. An easily accessible location with ample parking & a "garden" entrance. From the time we entered the reception area we were greeted with smiles & competency. The office as well as treatment area environment is bright & "open" with good blend of music in the background. Altho a very busy office the "wait time" was short & as a patient was never made to feel "hurried"; from the x-rays thru the treatment. I sat in the "waiting area" since husband's treatment took longer than mine & saw attentive courteous staff behavior exhibited for all patients, coming & going. Would highly recommend this facility from my experience.

You have to get used to a practice that isn't about milking the insurance company for all it's worth, but giving you the dental care you need. If you have good oral hygiene and your teeth are in good shape, chances are you will only need on cleaning a year. If you have a lot of dental problems, you will be seen as often as you need. The office in Bellingham is lovely, quiet and they are nice and professional. I would send anyone I know to Willamette Dental.

Talk to my insurance and they said the dental location didn't contact them to get a pre-approval to conduct the specific cleaning. So basically this location bypasses the steps needed to conduct whatever service you need and then hit you with a bill later in the future because they didn't go through the right steps before doing a service.

I would have changed dentists had I known. PS-When I brought this up to them this is a text response I received from their office: "Justin, you are a responsible adult. You can do the responsible thing and pay your balance or let the account default. I have cancelled your next appointment and inactivated your account. You will receive a statement in the mail. each month until paid. I found Evergreen and Dr. Howry and booked a new patient appointment along with my cleaning. First, going to the dentist is triggering for many people. First impression when going in their offices is the lighting is so bright you can see the moon. Mood should be calming = not. Second, when Dr. Howry walked into the room for the first time she did not even introduce herself or say hello. Spoke with the assistant, did her inspection of my mouth and then left. My husbands visit was about the same experience, although they were supposed to get the xrays from our old dentist and not sure if they did or didn't. But they took xrays and now will have to pay for them as they only allow one set per year unless it is a bad tooth. Wanting to give her a chance, my husband scheduled his crown appointment. Upon arrival, he informed them that he cannot tolerate the dam as it makes him choke/gag and he told the assistant. Dr. Howry then came in and said it was her policy to do it with the dam. My husband reiterated he cannot tolerate it and his old dentist did not use it and she said, "I guess you better find another dentist then". My husband was shocked, but left. Dr. Howry has all the warmth of a rock in December and as far as compassionate? We didn't see that at all. I would not recommend anyone to this dentist. Her team though, were very nice and had zero problems with them. We are going back to our old dentist. Some things are just worth the money.

He talked me through the whole procedure before starting. And reassured me during the extraction that everything was going great. Not that I would do it again... lol but if I ever needed to, I'd go back to Lance. The staff is amazing.
