At my most recent reinstall, I left with visible banding, yellow roots, and extensions that began falling out within 48 hours--despite being nearly bedridden post-surgery and barely moving. I repeatedly voiced concerns during my appointments, including color issues and dark roots, and was told everything looked fine. The install itself caused physical damage to my scalp and natural hair--something confirmed by two licensed professionals, including an extension educator and my former stylist from Chicago. Both were shocked by the condition of my scalp, pointing out bald spots and extreme tension from bead placement. The extensions, which cost me over $1,200, had to be thrown out, and I had to pay over $1,100 more to repair the damage. When I reached out to discuss a refund for the service itself, I was met with a denial and deflection. I was also warned not to make public claims--yet everything I've written here is documented and backed by expert statements and photos. If you're considering trusting this salon with extension work--especially if you've experienced hair loss or have a sensitive scalp--proceed with extreme caution.

Leslie was booked for 3 weeks (that's a good sign for a stylist). She offered me another stylist and I said I would just wait for her. Now mind you this is going on 7 weeks past my usual color. Never mind that I had had a decent cut in forever. I show up at the salon and Leslie is immediately warm and welcoming. She sits down with me, and we talk about color in ways I have never done before. Then she informs me of all the different color brands and their benefits and drawbacks. She then goes through my absolute mess of hair and determines with me what is wrong and how she is going to fix it. After at least 30 minutes of consultation she begins to transform my color and cut. I was so happy I almost cries. Leslie is a true gem and I cannot believe it took me so long to find her. We also connected on a dog level of love that was magical. I have been to the most highly rated stylists in this city and Leslie tops all of them. She is the most genuine hair stylist I have ever met- and her knowledge of hair type, color and product is amazing! So look no further- this gal is the bomb!!!
