I was the only woman in the barbershop but still felt relatively comfortable. The location I went to was tiny, so it pays to make an appointment. But I was able to get in as a walk-in once I waited for the walk-in barbershop to get back from lunch. I was thoroughly satisfied with my haircut at the end of the appointment. Only complaint was the next day or so, I found a scraggly chunk of hair that was partway between the very short hair on the left side of my head and the long hair on my right side. Rather than go back out to Morro Bay, I just cut it myself so it's less noticable. FYI: I only had the barber cut my very short hair NOT my long curly hair.

When I stumbled in the front door of our humble home, the first thing my wife said was "Oh hell no!" and sent me directly to Dylan. Dylan didn't judge me and made me feel quite comfortable as he brought me back from the brink of the dreaded marriage counseling. He gave me a great beard trim! So good, I immediately took a photo to send to all my co-workers still serving time on the crab boat to show them what they are missing back on the home front. My wife is letting me sleep on the couch for now (baby steps) and I suspect a few more visits to Dylan over the course of the next year or so and I'll be home for good. Thanks Dylan, couldn't have done it without you. Heart emoji! He does walk-ins which is great because I can schedule my way out of a wet paper bag.

He used to have a chair in San Luis Obispo where I live and it was convenient. I was bummed that he moved to Grover Beach because it can be hard to find a barber that cuts your hair the way you like it consistently. I followed him to Grover Beach anyway instead of finding someone new in SLO. Honestly, I hope he stays local but if he ever decided to move away to someplace like Santa Barbara I would still follow him there. I travel on business and I speak in front of crowds a lot so I need someone who delivers consistent great service and is dependable, but flexible enough to work with my irregular schedule. I highly recommend him. He's easy going, is a hard worker, and very professional.
