I found Chris through searching for a specialized fade barber. At 35 I had the "1 all around" style for over 10 years. I decided to mix things up and hit up Chris for a project/new hairstyle. He explained that if I wanted a modern mohawk look, that it would be a few months of proper trimming, buzzing, and hair growth to have the optimal look. We started the process back in September 2023, and it took about 6 months for the look to be fulfilled. It took longer as I had to grow out my hair and have the proper trims to get to where it's at today. The nice thing about the hawk is Chris designed it so that I can wear a hoodie and hide it if I don't feel like rocking that look all the time (as seen in photo). I am happy with the length now and Chris is very very detailed when performing maintenance cuts to keep me looking fresh. He works through lunch time specifically for his clients that want to squeeze in a 30 minute cut with him. He also stays after work hours all the way to 930pm on some nights to make it easy for the clients. I feel with his high skill level, patience, and proper care he attends to all his clients really sets him apart from other barbers. He is also located in a very convenient family oriented plaza in South Torrance/Palos Verdes border that he shares with In n out burger, home depot, and vons just to name a few. One thing I do remember about getting fades in the past was that these barbers were always "in the hood" and in unsafe places.
