They had ALL THE HERBS- I live in a huge city and wish our Walmart was like this. If I ever see basil, mint, or chives at my store it's like I've hit the lottery. We got great steaks, plenty of food for the week, dairy products, and nice fresh produce. Went back the next day for water balloons and water guns... so we kind of saw a little bit of everywhere.

The vegetarian selection isn't great, but this is middle of nowhere Oklahoma haha, so not surprising. The household item selection is pretty vast. I have no doubt you can find household items with ease here. Clothing as well. Parking is pretty good. There are always spots available and the parking lot is easy to navigate. The registers, namely the self-checkout is set up a little odd compared to other stores, but I'm happy it exists at this store. All in all, it's pretty much on par with the rest of the walmarts in the area: smaller selections in some things, virtually no cashiers, you know what I'm saying.

We did find some things that our local Dollar General doesn't carry like basketballs. They have lots of OU items but no OSU things. Besides the boxes ready to be put away and one aisle where merchandise is falling onto the floor, the store actually looked clean for the most part. The employees were nice, greeted us when we came in and helped when the credit card machine froze up. There are lots of crates full of clearance items by the register and discounted clothes outside. I saw two ladies working and boy have they got a job to do. I think the Dollar General stores need more employees to put out truck and straighten aisles.

Thankfully Hibbett has a great website and I was able to find cleats for my nephew. Bonus points: it was in stock at this store and could be picked up in just a few hours. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly and the lady was quick to grab my order. The store is very well-organized, and as I was waiting I noticed a good amount of products. I was eyeballing some shoes I may need to come back for myself. The lady called her manager just to make sure she didn't need anything else from me. She was also quick to respond, courteous, and polite. Both employees were. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I'm totally a fan of that! Football cleat crisis solved!

I bought a bag of Claey's old fashioned hard candy (the anise flavor, no less!) and the kid asked for some of mine. I told her, "You won't like this stuff, kid." Much to my surprise, she DID. (Hell, she ended up eating most of the damn bag.) Our nearest Atwoods is in Norman -- a good forty-five minutes from our home in NW OKC -- and so I've seldom got the time to stop in and peruse. (I'm usually there only to buy dog food, and to visit the nursery department in warm weather.) Who knew that Atwoods carried all this retro candy? They also have an outdoor fenced area with bigger items to sell. The bathrooms are always clean, the store is always fully stocked with new items coming in all the time. My grandkids love when they have the little chicks and ducks inside. The staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable. I love coming in here! We came in one time to buy a big tank to use for a septic tank and the cashier told us that it wouldn't work and gave us the phone number and address to where a place was close by to get exactly what we needed. I was so happy she kept us from buying something we didn't need. I fully recommend this store!
