They caught several problems with the advice and plans we'd been given, which saved us from long-term issues, so we ended up expanding the scope from just the patio to a door and window with them. The screen was ready a day earlier than Screen King said and, behold!, the bends in the frame are gone. Bianca was prompt at responded to my messages and very easy to communicate with. Hugo was the technician who came out to re-screen our sliding door, as well as one of the side windows. We originally thought the entire door needed to be replaced because our dog decided to go right through it and knocked it off the tracks. Luckily, Hugo was able to have everything fixed with no fuss and in a very short time. I'd like to mention that they do charge for mobile screen repair, but it's worth it if you're not able to transport your screens to them to be replaced. The final invoice was lower than the quote, and that's always great news. I highly recommend this company and will be sure to utilize them in the future if I need any screen repairs or replacements again.

Never knew about life time warranty until last month, one of the window cracked. We didn't have any receipt or anything, just an email we did 14 years ago. We just contacted the company on their website and amazingly, they have the record by the address. The service department was so helpful, they contacted us and contacted the manufacturer to set up appointment with the case number to get it replaced. The windows were replaced 14 years ago in one day and we had many custom sized windows. The amazing thing is they know exactly which window that cracked by us describing the location of the window. Anlin Delmar (Milgard) called us and setup the appointment. They came and replaced the windows in a few hours. It was amazing and we're extremely happy. Now we know, go with the best and reputable company like Custom Exteriors and a good manufacturer like Anlin Delmar to have after service years after the work is done. I think most companies receive their products from the same few dealers out of the area, so all of the other factors - sales, recommendations, follow-up, and installation are where Steve's really shines. Their salesman was a zero-pressure, information-forward gentleman who provided plenty of options and recommendations that would fit our front door and window setup. The front desk staff/logistics/admin were friendly, happy to chat with us, and flexible when it came to scheduling and planning. The installers are absolutely top-notch - these really feel like "local guys from the neighborhood" who care about making sure their work is here to last and be permanent. Just because the main offices aren't in Sacramento doesn't mean they don't care about each customer, regardless of where they're located. The final product is absolutely top notch, and we use everything on a regular basis. We get compliments and have sent friends to Steve's for referrals.
