Do not do business with this company…read more As I wrote the first draft of this review, I was waiting for a call back from Lawrence (the business owner) to schedule him bringing us a refund check for a deposit on screen doors my father ordered three months ago (April 19, too be exact) that have never been received. When they were ordered, we were told they'd be received and installed in 10 days. When last we spoke, in late May or early June, there were excuses about suppliers going out of business, with assurance that he'd call me with an update as soon as possible. When he called me today at 3:30pm, after calling multiple times over the past few weeks, usually being sent straight to voicemail and getting the recorded message that the mailbox was full, he said he'd been on vacation, and he was at the dump, but that he'd call me back in an hour to schedule bringing us the refund. After waiting 2 hours, I sent a text message to the number I had, informing Lawrence that someone would be home all day tomorrow to take the refund. An hour later, Lawrence said in response that he'd be coming by tonight with our refund. An hour after that, he left an envelope with cash in our mailbox, and it was $17 short. It's now 7:46pm, and after several phone calls where Lawrence yelled at me, hung up on me, called me names, implied that I'm a liar, and was just generally rude and unpleasant (and all with his young child in the car with him, apparently), he'll supposedly be bringing the remaining money back tomorrow. I cannot say this enough. Do not hire this company to do any work for you. This man took $257 of my father's money three months ago, doesn't return it all, then has the audacity to swear at my husband, and treat us like we did something wrong. He also is trying to place all of the blame for this epic fail on his staff, claiming he was out of the country for the last 5 weeks and that they, "dropped the ball." If I could give them zero stars, at this point I would. 7/21/16 Update: I'm attaching screenshots of the messages sent to me by Lawrence today. I will also be submitting all of this to the Better Business Bureau for review. Again, I cannot stress enough, this is the behavior of the *owner* of this company. 7/26/16 Update: I hope everyone is seeing the responses to this review the owner is leaving. They have nothing to do with the review, offer no resolution to the situation, and only contain false and slanderous statements against me personally. I believe he is trying to bully me into changing or deleting my review with these comments, which I will not do. I will be sure to update this review if/when the remaining money owed to my father is received, and I am contacting the appropriate agencies regarding this behavior. Thank you. 8/2/16 Update: Contrary to the statement made by Mr. Coelho in his most recent comment, the remaining $17 owed to my father has not yet been received.
