We then had to wait a further 30 minutes to get inside and then we were told that we had to pay £10 and an extra £2 if we had on jackets (which was compulsory). I was slightly annoyed but didn't let it ruin my night. The venue itself was okay. It was spacious and you could dance freely. The crowd of people that were there were mostly 18 24 so if your into more mature surroundings I don't think this place is for you :D. Considering it was a Africans v Caribbeans night the music was mostly, Afrobeats, Bashment, Reggae, Soca with some R&B and Hip-Hop (which I thoroughly enjoyed.) You don't really need to dress up. It's more casual but nice (however ladies, definitely put on those heels!) To sum it all up it was a really good night out. No fights! Just everybody having a good time! Into the club and it's expansive, annoying the second room wasn't open. The crowd was certainly chavier than I expected, the set funkier than I anticipated but alas, you can bring the boys to the club but all I could see in my peripheral vision was the hottest girl the wrong side of the Thames dancing in a skinny vest for four hours flat. Go up a level and there is a Room 2 which has a different DJ in this is also the same style music and busy too. There is a toilet on this level though beware you walk in one door and it splits in 2 sides which you can see down both and that's men and womens hmmm. another bar on this level and a balcony over looking the dance floor and again a seating area. You can go to level 3 if your VIP for VIP you have to have a minimum spend of £500 per table, which believe me you do, you get waitress service and a nice leather booth. The table opens up and it's filled with ice and bottles of vodka or champagne or whatever you order. There is also your own private VIP dancefloor with disco lights and your own toilet - not split. I went for the first time to see my favorite boy band, Five, on their reunion tour. A 20,000+ person capacity arena in the center of a "mall" is wild. The arena had great sound, and even though I was in the upper tier stage-left, I had a clear view of the stage. For a first time visitor, it is important to note that the upper tier is very steep. I was only in the 2nd row from the ledge, so I did not have any issues with vertigo/motion sickness. However, I would personally avoid seats near the top because I know I would have issues. There is a separate merch store outside the area to avoid crazy lines once you enter the arena. You can bring small packages and pursues inside but they made others rent a locker to place large packages and jackets. In addition to the arena, there is a smaller venue that was simultaneously hosting a K-Pop concert and the dinner venue for Mamma Mia! I wish I would have arrived when the shops first opened as I could have easily spent an entire day wandering around. If you are visiting London and have the opportunity to see a show at one of the venues, I highly recommend making a day of it!
