My concerns were not discussed and options were not discussed. Dr. Mays did what she wanted and I was left with a larger opening on my upper lip. When Dr. Mays took off the skin for the biopsy my cyst was opened. I now look like I have a large piercing in my upper lip. I've had multiple people ask me if I have a piercing. Dr. Mays didn't address my needs. I will now have to go to a plastic surgeon. I would hope a doctor would take more care when working on a person's face. Billing is also an issue. I received a bill and paid it in Nov. 2025. Today, I received another bill for the same thing I already paid. When I called to clear it up, I was told the practice was sold and I'd have to contact the old owner. I tried to contact the old owner, but could only leave a voicemail. I contacted them on Instagram to ask for more details whether I had to do the treatment in the month of July to get the deal or if I could schedule at a later date. They replied that I could do the treatment at my convenience, with no date restrictions. On September 1st, 2020, I called to schedule an appointment and confirmed with them whether there would be any extra charges for the treatment and I was reiterated that there was no extra cost since it was part of the July promotion. However, on the day of my appointment (September 29th) they said I had to pay for the treatment when I checked in as I didn't do it in July and the promotion funds were exhausted in July. If I was informed that I had to schedule and use the promotio treatment on the month of July, I would not had purchased the product since I was not able to schedule in July. I explicitly asked and made decisions based on what their employees informed me. I have the chat logs as evidence. They still put the blame on me for not using the promotion on July, and their own employees, all the marketing, esthetician and scheduling, for being misinformed. I would not recommend this doctor's office because they engaged in potentially false advertisement campaigns. Even though I had evidence of what their employees told me, they refused to honor the promotion and their words.
