I wanted to love the place but after Linda and I got done making a plan on how to do my nails and she began preparing my nails, a lady walks in and just announced loudly that they were supposed to have an appointment at 4pm, Linda gets up and runs to her to look at the book. There was no appointment in the book. Linda asked for another time but the lady said it would not work. I understand that this lady was most likely a regular and that mistakes happen but what happened next was unbelievable. Linda came back to me and asked me to get up and move from my chair. I looked at her in disbelief. There was no please move, no explanation, and certainly no apology. I almost got up and left but she had already put on 2 fake nails. So the next lady who was going to do my nails obviously felt uncomfortable and I think asked if someone else could do my nails. Next I was told to get up and move to another chair. So I did. I believe this was the owner who was going to do my nails. She asked me what I wanted done and I told her to ask Linda because she knew exactly what what we were going to do to do and since they speak the same language I thought Linda could explain it to her better than I could. She did not ask and began to finish the preparation of my nails. When she finished, I asked her again to talk to Linda. She finally did talk to her but Linda did not take the time to fully explain so the owner was unsure so I just showed her the picture of what I was going to to do until I talked with Linda. The owner rushed through my nails and did an ok job. One that was very inconsistent from nail to nail. Like I said , a rushed job. Next, it was time to pay. Still no apology from the owner or from Linda. No discount. Nothing!!!! Apparently, they do not want my business. I was going to bring my friends too. I did leave not quite a 20% tip as well. (not sure why I did this, but I did) The place is very nice and Linda did a very impressive job, but her customer service was horrible!!! I have been in the hospitality business for a long time and this is no way to treat your guests. Same goes for the owner. If you make a mistake, which we all do, go out of your way to apologize and make the situation right. Put yourself in my shoes. How would you feel if you were a new customer in this situation, would you want to come back? You have the potential to do far better than you have so far. My experience started out amazing but that ended very quickly. An apology and some sort of a discount was all that you would'v had to do to resolve this. You could have kept my business and potentially have gained more business as well.

This is important as some procedures are not immediately reversible and it is better to start conservatively even though I know I can be pushy sometimes ;) I have been to many other med spas and must say they have a good thing going. As it was my first visit I cannot vouch for 5 stars quiet yet but I will be back. The ladies at the front desk were also very professional and helpful unlike some other med spas I have been to. If you're like me and you have never had sugaring done before but have done waxing, this is my experience with it in layman's terms/from a consumer side: PROS: -Not sticky!! Frequently after waxing I find that the wax residue is still there and lint from my pants will stick to me and require so real vigorous rubbing to clean off in the shower later. -Sugar is not hot. It's warmed with body heat and doesn't run the risk of burning your skin. -Doesn't stick to skin or pull any layers off! I briefly had some sugar get stuck on a part of my thigh that was extra warm (warmed with body heat and wouldn't harden enough to pull off) and all it took was setting a fan on it to cool it down. So no ouchies afterwards. -Really really helped with ingrown hairs IMO. I have sensitive skin that's super prone to ingrowns after shaving and this did not cause any more of them AND even got a few out. -You can get pretty big sections done at once as opposed to going strip by strip. CONS: -So the sugar is "molded" over the surface of your skin in the opposite direction of hair growth. To me this felt very uncomfortable. When you get waxed, the wax is warm, liquidy, and goes in the direction of hair growth, so it's almost soothing? The sugar is maybe a little warmer than the room and about the consistency of silly putty, and it felt like it really pulled on my hairs as it was put on. So rather than soothing-ouch-soothing-ouch back and forth, it was pretty much just uncomfortable the whole time. *THAT SAID*: I found sugaring to be significantly less painful overall the waxing. So while it was consistently uncomfortable, it was a lower intensity pain. -Your hair does get sort of balled up into the sugar throughout the appointment. It's not like you feel the hairs or anything, but if this is really weird to you then I guess keep that in mind? All in all, my verdict is extremely positive experience! Lisa was very friendly and patient with me and didn't make feel uncomfortable at all, which is quite a feat when you're laying in your underthings on a table while someone rips hair off your thighs! I left a message after hours to schedule with her and she was incredibly quick in returning my call and getting me booked before I went out of town for the weekend. I was given instructions on aftercare to keep my legs smooth and healthy and scheduled a touch up for four weeks later to keep them like that. Side note: I am a woman with PCOS, which in part means excessive hair growth. My legs look and feel incredible and feminine, and the peace of mind I am able to get with the help of this place is fantastic. :) Highly recommend!

In my surprise, one of the doctor's recommendations was a Chemical Peel treatment. Two weeks ago, I had a first Chemical Peel out of the four series of treatments. It was excellent! Yesterday the second one has done and it went very well, too. She created her clinic/office is one of the most clean environment, private and comfortable places for me to have done this procedure. She demonstrated her perfection of what she does. She has magical hands with techniques.
