It's fairly lengthy (yes more lengthy than this review) and strenuous but I believe it's only right to share my story regarding my experience with this business and my artist, Miriam. I initially came to her wanting microblading done because I grew up during the 'thin brow fad' in the 90s and I rarely wear makeup so I wanted a more "natural yet maintenanced" look. I will be the first to say that in the cosmetic world, I am very naive and uninformed though I tried to educate myself on this specific procedure but I partially believe she may have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. The entire process has been a complete upset and it's such a shame because the ladies were so nice while being in their presence but there was a huge lack of concern/care once I left the office (both times) and the reality of the results set in. I would text picture updates and ask questions about my healing phase and never got responses back, I called the business and also tried contacting her via Instagram where we originally met/talked. Nothing. She would actively post stories on her account but couldn't take the time to respond to a worried client.... since I was not getting any replies from my own artist, I went to a handful of others in the area with my questions regarding my results and they have all claimed that instead of microblading, Miriam looked to have attempted a tint & shade or powderbrow instead which is very frustrating for me because I showed her countless Before and After photos of women with thin eyebrows like mine and the look I wanted.. needless to say that's not what I got in return. I truly feel like I was robbed of my money and on top of that, I still decided to OVERtip her each session for her time even though her and I both knew I would leave unsatisfied and uneasy about things. At the end of the day, I'm MORE disappointed with the lack of compassion and attentiveness from my artist than I am the actual results.... and that's saying ALOT seeing how they turned out. Looking back on the situation I 100% believe it was all about the money and not having pride in her work and wanting to make things right. It took a lot of time, courage, trust and budgeting for me to finally take the steps to do this procedure and my heart is completely broken about how everything played out. I would also like to add that I know this ink is different than regular tattoos but I am tatted up and never had this issue with ink being pushed out, as she claimed happened. Also, I feel like she always danced around the issue and gave me the run around instead of being honest about my situation until everything was said/done and paid for. I naturally have dry skin and refrained from any type of excersing for 2 weeks after each session to assure I did not irritate or disrupt the healing process... in retrospect I just wish I would've put that money to better use. $700 down the drain. The result speaks for itself. Lesson learned

Personally, I am extremely particular / protective of my brows...therefore I did thorough research prior to deciding. Susan made me feel welcome, comfortable & shared valuable insight via phone so I knew I'd be in good hands. My actual appointment was set about a month out (likely due to scheduling demands or COVID-19) either way if gave me time to research & prepare even more. Once my appointment day arrived the establishment was CLEAN, SAFE & FRIENDLY!!! All very important to me as a client. Susan was just as sweet in person, I was greeted with a temp check, face mask & smeyez (eye smile). The procedure itself was painless; of course there's a numbing agent however I didn't feel pain during or after. Healing time was minimal (maybe 3-5 days). Compliments come on a very regular basis and I couldn't be more happy with my choice in SUKU Beauty for microblading. My beautiful brows are set for the next 12 months & I don't worry about how wearing a mask compromises my beauty but my brows paint an entire picture!

I found out about this location on a whim, I was headed back out of town and had a flight and forgot I didn't get my eyebrows done. All these years later, I still don't trust anyone else to do them. I was told about this location, that it would be open until 6 o'clock on Sunday; and I rushed down the street. Just so you know this location is right off of 270 and Manchester. Drive like you are going to West County Mall, go past the mall and it is on the right side in the plaza with Schnucks, right next to Five Guys. Threading has been the go-to for facial hair removal for a minute and here is why: No burning of skin (with waxing you can lose a layer and the hair never grows back); no harsh chemicals; not as costly as other forms of hair removal; hair doesn't grow back as fast; no mess; and you are in and out quickly. Is it painful? Not as much as other forms of hair removal and we all know the old adage, no pain no gain. On average threading lasts for 3-4 weeks. How is this done? Well, the thread is used, pulled taut in order to accurately and precisely remove each hair. The space? Nice and clean with two seats to do the threading and a waiting area. Whenever you get an eyebrow threading you get a stamp on a frequency card. Threading can also be done all over the face (lip, chin, sideburns etc.). Threading gives you a custom brow to frame your face; so, everyone doesn't walk with those thin, overarched brows. You leave with natural, not overdone eyebrows. Ladies, let's keep it cute shall we (gentleman too, no unibrow crew) - beautifully frame your eyes while highlighting your best features. Don't forget you deserve it!

I was asked why I still wear it since "no one pays attention to hair here anyway," and was told, "I hope, next time I see you, I'll see you without it." I believe service providers should respect their clients' personal and religious choices and avoid comments like this unless the client invites the conversation.
