However, I didn't want it done in SF again, where there are tons of people, but not necessarily the depth of experience. When I was home visiting family and friends in WI I found Nee. During my pedicure, the nail tech commented on my hairy legs even after I apologized. It's winter in Wisconsin; it happens. Then, when clipping my toenails, I apologized again since I don't get routine pedicures, and she commented about how long they were as well. It made the entire service feel uncomfortable and judgmental. When I moved on to my manicure, the tech (I didn't catch their name) accidentally cut my finger and it started bleeding. I included a photo. By that point, I honestly just wanted the appointment to be over. I hated my experience that was suppose to be relaxing. The total was $135 before tip, which is significantly higher than what I usually pay in Appleton ($90 for the same basic manicure and pedicure). For what I received, it felt overpriced. I pointed out I hadn't planned on being sick so couldn't have called 24 hours in advance,  and called as early as I thought I could given my appointment was at 9, and they open at 9. She then went on to say I should have called earlier and left a message or texted because the owner always checks messages and they could have gotten other people in because there were a lot of people waitlisted. She had the snottiest tone in this 3 minute phone call where she fought with someone who was clearly sick.  I told her I was so upset with how she treated me,  didn't appreciate it,  was offended,  and wouldn't be coming back.  She just hung up on me.  I reached out to the owner,  who according to this receptionist,  is constantly checking messages but it's been crickets. For all of you who came after 9 who would have been exposed to a nasty bug if I would have come,  just know they apparently would rather I have kept the appointment than worry about your health.
