I can't say that I go to Fabricville often, but I certainly will not be going back to this one if I can help it!
Luckily I was able to find the fabric I was looking for, but when I went to get it measured, the person helping me couldn't help herself from joking around with her colleagues very loudly about how horrible the previous customer was. Pretty unprofessional.
Once I made it to the cash, I waited patiently while the cashier served an elderly woman. The cashier was taking her time to explain something to her, which I understand. She even left her cash register to go to the back of the store to get another product for her. This was nice of her, but she definitely didn't care to get back to the register in a hurry. At this point I was already waiting for a good 7 - 8 minutes with no acknowledgement from the cashier at all.
When she finally did saunter back to the register, she continued to talk with the woman for a good 5 minutes at which point I looked at her and said that I was a little rushed for time. She just shrugged and gave me the "I don't care" look. The customer then apologized to me for taking so long to which the cashier said "this is the normal amount of time, it's fine".
She could have at least acknowledged that I was waiting there for 10 minutes, thank me for my patience, but instead she made me feel like I should just be grateful that she would have eventually served me.
Terrible customer service, no wonder there are hardly any Fabricvilles left in this city. read more
