Also, I got too many calls and texts from them to come in. The RWC receptionist told me that I could go to the Montainview office. It's very close to my gym so I went. Based on all the negative reviews re: rudeness, long waiting time, etc. I expected the worst. I couldn't have been more wrong. The receptionist, Audrey, I believe, was warm and friendly, and so was the x-ray tech, Kathrina. I didn't even have to wait a minute. They took me right in. In fact, Kathrina was so friendly we ended up talking for about 10 minutes after the x-ray (which went very smoothly and professionally) was over (no one else was waiting for an x-ray). I ended up having a VERY positive experience, contrary to so many of these reviews.

The parking is easy, and the waiting areas are attractive, updated, spacious and comfortable. Although I had to drive over to the Samaritan Drive Campus, once there everything went smoothly, and the actual Mammogram took less than 40 minutes. For this reason, I am updating my review. The Patient Experience is outstanding! Word to the wise: if you want a mammogram on the Stanford Campus, then schedule it 4 months in advance.

I had a very frustrating experience with scheduling at this imaging center…read more About two hours before my MRI appointment, I received a text message informing me that my appointment time had been changed. I later learned that the appointment was being moved because the scheduling department had accidentally double-booked the time slot. What was especially frustrating was that my physician had specifically ordered the MRI as STAT, yet my appointment was still rescheduled because of an internal scheduling error. No one contacted me to discuss whether the new time worked for me before making the change. They also didn't attempt to reschedule the other person's appointment yet reschedule mine which was marked urgent. After a challenging conversation with the scheduling department, I explained that my physician had requested the MRI be completed as soon as possible. I was then told that an earlier appointment at 10:45am could be arranged. However, I later discovered that they had actually scheduled me for 2:15pm, a time I had repeatedly stated I was unavailable. When I called back approximately 30 minutes later to correct the error, I reached the same scheduling representative. They acted as though our previous conversation had never occurred and they had no memory of talking to me just 30 minutes before and insisted that 2:15pm was the only available option. No effort was made to resolve the issue or honor what had been discussed and agreed upon earlier. Ultimately, I had to call the Los Gatos clinic directly to find an appointment time that worked. During that conversation, I was also informed that my copay would be $420, which was significantly higher than the $130 I had been told by the scheduling representative. The MRI itself may have been fine, but the scheduling process was disorganized, inconsistent, and unnecessarily stressful. Patients should not have to navigate conflicting information, scheduling errors, errors in cost amount, and last-minute changes, especially when the examination is needed promptly for a potentially serious medical concern.

I had an MRI done recently, for the second time in 6 months. Not only the results were not ready 5…read moredays later but I was told by the employee that VRI does not have Radiologist full time ! Before the exam I told the technician to pass my info to the Radiologist and "not to copy the findings from my last MRI as they did 6 moths ago! Back then, Sept. '25 the MRI findings were copied- word by word- ferom my last MRI back in 2023 which my doctor found and did not like it at all. Neither did I. What's the sense and purpose of MRI, if the findings are copied from the prior imaging test? Outside of getting paid for that expensive imaging, it did not provide the current extend of spine damages making it useless for the treating doctor. Consider facilities with full time radiologist on payroll!

We arrived a few minutes late to our appointment due to some of the side effects of the pre-surgical prep my wife had to do. The staff was patient and understanding, and held onto everything until we arrived. Our nurse was incredible. He answered all of our questions, went out of his way to ensure my wife's comfort before surgery, and was pleasant every step of the way. The surgery went without a hitch. The surgeon was attentive and kind while answering our many questions. They even asked my wife what sort of music she likes to listen to, and played it during the procedure. Truly, I can't say enough good about this surgical center. If you find yourself with a procedure scheduled here, know that you're in for a great experience during a scary time.
