I get hot and extra hot- perfectly spicy without regret. The building is modern and the vibe is clean and comfy room for groups or just yourself. I love this place HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Any time I'm in temple terrace I come here.

I went there today to pick up an order I placed through Uber Eats. Usually, when you pick up an Uber Eats order yourself, they don't require a verification code. However, when I went to the front and gave my name to the cashier, she asked if I had proof of the order. I told her no, as I had ordered on my computer and didn't have a code. She insisted she needed verification. My phone wasn't working at the moment, which I don't blame her for, but the way she handled the situation was incredibly frustrating. I waited 20 minutes before I actually got my food. The cashier stood there talking on her phone, claiming she needed to ask her manager, but she never actually did. I didn't hear her explain the situation or ask anyone for help. Instead, she just stayed on her phone and eventually slid the food over to me. There was no apology for the wait, no "here you go," and no "have a nice day." She just slid it over with a smile while still chatting on her phone. It felt like she was purposely inconveniencing me. As soon as I mentioned that I had my ID to prove who I was, it was suddenly no issue, and she handed it over without ever checking with a manager. Very disappointing experience. While the food itself still tastes good, it is simply no longer worth the money or the poor treatment. I never expected over the top, bubbly customer service, the staff that used to work here would just get the job done without the fake enthusiasm, and that was perfectly fine. But there is a massive difference between a worker just trying to get through their shift and one who actively goes out of their way to keep you waiting while talking on the phone. Between the disrespectful service and the shrinking portions, this place just isn't what it used to be.

This is a good place for lunch, if you can get a lunch deal…read more I ordered online for takeaway. Sadly, there were no lunch deals available with the online ordering system, so my meal was less of a bargain. I ordered a strawberry matcha tea with brown sugar boba and karaage with lo mein. As I was driving over, I received a call from the restaurant informing me that since they just opened that morning, the boba would not be ready for an hour, so I could either wait or switch to popping boba (I chose the latter). Also, the karaage is no longer on the menu, so could they switch to whole wings? Fine. The food was ready when I arrived. It was packaged in styrofoam, and the corners were NOT punched out, so by the time I got home, the chicken was no longer crispy. (Thankfully, I did sample a wing in the parking lot before I drove home, so I can say that the wings are crispy and delicious if eaten immediately.) I had ordered medium spice, and it was spicy! And I like spice! If you are not spice tolerant, go with mild or no spice. My lips are still feeling hot. I thought the food was good, not life changing. Pretty typical Americanized Chinese food plus wings. My matcha tea was on the sweet side and with not a lot of matcha flavor. I wish I could have requested a lower level of sweetness on the online ordering site.

My service is always on point and the cashier always delivers every time. The place stays nice and clean and always cleaning the dining room. The inconsistency with this store is appalling. I went to eat lunch there Saturday with a friend…read more It took a moment for them to come up and even bother serving the customers in line. The chicken was amazing as well as the rice. I ordered a mango smoothie to go with my meal. I wish it was a bit sweeter like mangoes generally are. They seem to skimp on the portions of their cilantro lime sauce though. I then came here last night through the drive through, and when I got home, my chicken was BURNT to a crisp. It was horrendous. How on earth are you okay with serving your customers charred chicken? I barely had any decent chicken left to eat after picking off the burnt contents on it. It's a shame because I really do enjoy Pollo, but after the stark difference between ONE day, I'll just have to go elsewhere.

Moving to Tallahassee, they have one of these at the university, but even then, options are limited and I never go there. Consequently while in Tampa, you know I had to get my Tropichop. I wound up ordering from Uber Eats as I was working from a hotel room and struggling big time with my work computer. I figured some comfort food wouldn't hurt. Ordered a regular-sized Tropichop with white rice and black beans, grilled chicken, and pieces of corn. It was downright delicious. Piping hot, just made, and it ultimately hit the spot. Now who knows when I will eat from this chain again. They've yet to franchise to Tallahassee much to my chagrin.
