Well Mr Gibeau I Finally get to write this letter to you…read more Gene Gibeau since everyone is coming out I am too. During my time in your employ you sexually harassed me. One day you called me in your office where you had a business meeting with a bunch of men I was friendly asking if they wanted coffee doing my job I left your office only to be called in again and you asked me to turn around so the men could see me walking away. You constantly would yell from your office as I was making copies that you were in lust of me. You Propositioned me many times. I could not even get a coffee without you on my back. At the time when I was married you questioned me about going to see Jimmy and was I on my period. You told your wife I hated men she came to the office when you were not there and gave me a name of a group I could go to. I went with you to sing at your warehouse because I was afraid of losing my job. You told me not to tell Jimmy. I have been single for 14 years and most of that is your fault. I wanted to sue you for how you made me feel. I felt like a call girl. It was awful you called me in your office one day and said if you divorced Blanche would I marry you I said no. I remember Bill Saying to you to be careful of your attitude because it was sexual harassment. I would throw up before I went to work but I had to go I Was single and I had a daughter to look after. You would get jealous when I was friendly to men. I told you that was my culture. I cried so many times when I went home I felt so worthless and I knew there was no one to tell. Who would believe me a little girl from the rock I wanted to sue your ass off but I thought you were a big business man and no one would ever believe me. As I Write this as an adult I still get nauseated it never leaves. I wanted you to know I have carried this around all these years. You are doing what you love but you owe me for everything you did to me. An apology would be good but your love of money would help. I quit that day before you came to work but I did tell Bill what you had done and were doing to me. I fighting back Gene I am not that little insecure girl. I am a woman and you have to own up now to what you did to me. I expect to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Joanne Collins collinsj@telus.net 780-910-5253 This is not going away now. I have it out in black and white. I say you owe me for all that mental stress. Joanne Collins Your associate Bill Who worked in the office too will Verify this. I might add Blanche you had suspicions of this too. You called regularly to see how gene was treating me. I said to you he was very nice and helpful To me what could I say I had s little girl. And needed the job, Finally I went To Bills office and I told him. I Quit at 9:15 in the morning before you got in. One year of being sexyally sexually harassed every day was so stressful On me but I thought of my little girl the money was decent and I Was a single mother and scared. Joanne Collins 780-910 5253

5 stars, but I'm a little biased. I think what this organization does is amazing. Helping people…read morethat are in trouble debt wise is extremely admirable. Every individual I have met at this organization is kind and compassionate, which is exactly what people who are swimming in debt need. Originally funded by the Government of Alberta Money Mentors is the only organization that can set up an OPD (orderly payment of debt) program for you which consolidates all your debts and comes up with a payment plan for you so that you don't have to declare bankruptcy. Coaching people with their money is something I would love to get into as a career and I'm happy to announce that Money Mentors is making steps into the community. This means educating young people so that they don't end up in situations where their debt is over-whelming. Money Mentors in Edmonton now has extended hours which gives flexibility to a variety of individuals and they also offer one free financial fitness class a month which focuses on setting you up for a strong financial future. I had a meeting with a representative from Sunlife just to get an idea of what services he had to…read moreoffer. On the one hand, he did seem to know a fair bit more than me about financial stuff (no real surprise there). And he was reasonably friendly. But I decided not to go with them because of the experience I had with the rep. For one, my husband and each manage our own accounts, and work together to manage joint expenses (like rent, food, and bigger financial decisions). Typically I'm a little more proactive, like in terms of keeping records, trying to learn about investing, etc. than my husband is. However, the rep kept talking mostly to my husband, asking him about all the bookkeeping, and leaving me out of the conversation a bit - except for when he would explain financial concepts to me (and only me) with shopping metaphors. I kid you not, I felt like we were back in the 50s. Maybe I shouldn't have been surprised, cos the visual aids he had to explain some stuff looked like they were from the 70s or 80s in terms of style (and were a bit beat up). They may seem like small things, but I can't help but wonder how my experience would be with someone who can't even keep their materials up to date, and who assumes the husband does all the work and that the wife could understand better through shopping allegories. It was bizarre. Maybe their services themselves are alright; I don't have much to compare to. But I certainly won't go with a company that treats me in such a bizarre manner.

My experience with Sun Life Financial hasn't been good to say the least. Although it may be true…read morethat the staff is friendly and helpful at times; the services they offer aren't the best and it seems to take them centuries to approve my short term disability. At first they didn't accept me because of little detail of my condition, so I thought why not a second time and this time I made sure it was the best it could be so they could be able to accept me. Now it's been more than three months and I'm getting impatient, what is taking them so long? Not only that, they seem to be avoiding my calls and voice mails, as if they are procrastinating to look and investigate on my short term disability. I'm getting more worried about their approval than my own condition. So to anyone who is considering to use Sun Life Financial I warn you and be careful of what you're getting yourself into.
