It doesn't provide air conditioning, at least in my room. A nice fan is provided for warmer days. All of this reflects the penchant of many Europeans to avoid A/C. Their breakfasts are quite nice for the 16 euros one pays. I paid in advance for all of my days. There is a good restaurant next door, literally attached to the lobby. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and multilingual.

The selection was almost overwhelming. The staff were great and spoke English as our Deutsch is bad. There's a nice little cafe right across the street as well. Coffee and pastries. We didn't eat dinner there but we did eat at the Parkhotel in Stuttgart and it was a damn fine meal.
