I hate gyms that hide their prices... how much does it cost?

They've expanded their free weight selection, more rowing machines, more space, and classes. I…read moreadded my family to my membership. Doing a superset or circuit training is tricky because bench press and leg press machines are far from the free weights. I would switch that up a bit so it's easier to do a superset. Right now, I have to carry over a couple sets of bars and free weights to the bench press area, and then cart it all back. I guess it gives me an extra workout, but it's a pain for other guests. I'm sure they can move some things around to work out the kinks. I do like the new open turf areas that let me jump from weights to burpees. Looking forward to trying out the classes. ***10/8/17 This week, the machines were rearranged so it's easier to do circuit training. Thanks VASA.

We got a day pass here, and I'm leaving this review before even leaving the gym. This place is…read moredisgusting. The bathrooms are the nastiest things ever (pics attached). All of the equipment is old and dated, the lighting is like cafeteria lighting, and the guy working the front desk didn't even offer to tell us where everything was after him getting our day pass enabled. Common sense would tell you we don't know where anything is if we're using a day pass. This place is so gross, we will not be getting a membership here.

Hotworx I signed up for hotworx with the sweat everywhere…read morepass in May. I was sold on the sweat everywhere as opposed to the sweat here for the benefits of being able to use any location as well as the guest privileges which are listed in the agreement as "Members may bring as many guests as they would like for any one single visit; however, a particular guest may come no more than three times total in a 12 month period and not more than one time in one calendar month." I have used these privileges as multiple locations such as Millcreek/Holiday, Draper, and South Jordan with no issues. Today I brought two friends of mine to the new Daybreak location with me to workout. From the second we arrived, the general manager Tara had extreme attitude and was rude and condescending. She said we did not come early enough to bring guests since staff was leaving soon which has never been an issue as long as we arrived during staffed hours. Then she told me since both of my guests have come at least once before it would be a $20 cost EACH for them to workout, which again has never been an issue and is not stated in the policy. I brought up the policy and she told me it doesn't matter and each franchise can make up their own rules. She asked for my information to look me up to list as a referral for my friends and I spelled my name multiple times and she still got it wrong. She started saying things like are you sure you are a member and asking where I signed up. I told her I signed up in Millcreek and she told me that doesn't include any other location and I cannot workout. She assumed that I did not have a sweat everywhere pass and was rude about it. I had to tell her no I have the sweat everywhere and I do have access to all locations and spell my name at least two more times. When I again pushed the issue of the guest rules being different than the agreement and any other location I've visited her and another staff member started saying weird things such as what if a guy member brought in random guests and that it wasn't safe and we could be attacked. When we pointed out that her assuming we would be attacked by any male to enter is extremely weird and that we don't think that would happen, Tara stated she's worked at the Tooele location and has seen it happen. They kept stressing how it wouldn't be safe for us to be there especially if other men were in the building which was beyond odd and disturbing. We ended up leaving without any workout and feeling totally confused. Keep in mind that signing up for the sweat everywhere does not actually mean you have the same privileges at every location and also keep in mind that it is apparently not safe to be there after hours as it has happened that females have been attacked by males as well as they believe every male is the type to attack if given the opportunity.
