The online registration and class reservation was a breeze. Miles (the coach) greeted us when we arrived and helped get us assimilated to the gym, equipment, and group. He did a great job providing an overview of what to expect, direction on form when needed, and was encouraging/motivating throughout the session. The experience was much better than I expected my first out of state drop in to be. I am certainly coming back each time I'm in town. I highly recommend for all levels -- it's a friendly, supportive environment. Thanks for the wonderful workout !

HOTWORX is the ish!!!!!!!!!…read more Came here on Veteran's Day with the wifey (as we were both off) and signed up for the free Pilates class. The day before I went to Jiu Jitsu then had some wine with the wife... so I was SUPER SORE and had some alcohol toxins in my body. When we arrived we were greeted with smiles by to lovely ladies, Riley and Ashley. They welcomed us in, showed us the facility, explained the different rooms, their functions and set us up for success. We started the Pilates class and began to sweat IMMEDIATELY. Our class was approximately 30 minutes and by the end ........ YOOOOOOOOO I felt like I sweated out all the harmful toxins, my soreness from Jiu Jitsu went away, I felt light on my feet, I felt refreshed, I felt renewed. I literally felt like a King prepared to conquer my day. Thank you again Ashley and Riley. We'll be back!

I visited CrossFits EX to get information before starting a free session. My experience in the past…read morewith Crossfit is that they are very picky as to your fitness level, so I wanted to make sure this was a welcoming place for beginners. The person who greeted me informed me that the classes were for all fitness levels and it is for all ages. I was told to come with my daughter, who they also said was welcome, so that we could try it out. Once I got to the class, we were separated from the other class members (was told classes were at your pace) in a private session. In the end, I was told my daughter, who is turning 12, was too young and could only do private sessions, and I should also do private sessions for at least 6 classes (for us both, this would be over $160 a session). I see they have happy customers, but I am sure they all must have come in fit or done their private sessions as suggested. I would not recommend this place if you are starting your fitness journey. You can get private training at a gym and some of the more beginning-level-welcoming CrossFit gyms. If CrossFit is your sport of choice and EX is the closest to your house, I am sure they will welcome you in once you are all fit and ready for their classes. In my case, a place that says I am welcome but treats my fitness level like a problem will never get any of my money

I am an experience 'CrossFitter' and have dropped in to other places while travelling, and I have never felt as welcome as I did here. Gordon the owner/coach and all of his staff were knowledgeable, helpful and made everyone there feel awesome. I dropped in four days in a row and even did Yoga for the first time after the WOD on the fourth day. The facility is a good size, certainly not tiny, but not too open/big. It was organized and very clean, obvious that they maintain the place well. Thanks for the great hospitality CrossFit EX! I will definitely drop in again if in town.

I actually really enjoyed the yoga for healthy back! The other yoga that I tried was just OK (I think it was the complete yoga class). Some of the things that I wish were a little bit different was the parking/location. It is in a very busy plaza so it can sometimes just feel really crowded and hectic. Also, the smell of the studio does not seem super fresh! The studio is upstairs, so it's not super convenient although it isn't difficult to find if you go up the elevator or stairs. It is a small studio with a couple of yoga rooms. One of the classes I went to wasn't very full, but the other one was. The teachers are very nice and accommodating, and made sure that there was space for everyone! I thought the yoga classes were decent enough, but I wouldn't say I learned anything new. I won't be purchasing a permanent class pass, but I also don't think there is anything particularly wrong with the studio. I think it's all about just finding the best fit of what resonates with the individual yogi.

My only complaint would be that there are not enough weekend classes so the few that do exist are always packed - make sure to get there early for a good spot! Parking in Smyrna Village can be hard to come by, so you may have to park a bit further away so make sure to allow time to walk to the studio, up the stairs or take the elevator to the 2nd floor and be in class by the exact start time - if you are more than 5 min late, they will not let you in!

I had been at my goal weight for a few years and didn't feel like OTF gave me enough time with the weights to build up my muscles. I met one of the owners, Lance, when I took my son for a Speed & Agility class and we talked about how I was looking to build muscle to not only protect my joints but also to gain more strength. I scheduled an intro class with him the following week and then decided to cancel my OTF membership to switch to Treigned because I knew it was going to be more challenging and a better environment for me. I originally told Lance that I try to work out 2-3 times a week because I have kids' activities the other days and I play soccer on Sundays. That only lasted about a month and now I go almost every day. You are given a workout each day to follow but Lance or one of the other trainers are always there with you to give you modifications or substitutions if you want to target a different area that day. It is almost like having a personal trainer each time but you also get the camaraderie of the other members in your sessions. The music isn't super loud so you can actually converse and build relationships and a community that makes you want to come workout every day. As for my goals, I have built a lot more muscle and have actually lost 7 more pounds that have stayed off. The best part is that this place doesn't have to be just for you. They have kids (as young as 5 years old) training in there as well. Some are doing weights and others are doing Speed and Agility. So, if you are interested in showing your children a healthy lifestyle or want to improve their performance in athletics, you can bring them here and get in a workout yourself while they train. It becomes a family event :) If your goal is to lose weight, come to Treigned. If your goal is to gain weight/muscle, come to Treigned. If your goal is to maintain your weight/muscle, come to Treigned. If your goal is to get motivation for a healthy lifestyle, go to Treigned. If your goal is to get your whole family healthy, come to Treigned. Honestly, this place is flexible and will help you achieve any of your goals.

None of the office staff wear masks nor do they ask their patients to wear them. I asked them why they weren't wearing a mask and they said they social distance. Keep in mind the office is extremely small so: 1. There is no way to "social distance" bc I can stretch my arms out and touch both sides of the waiting room. 2. I reminded them that's not how Covid works indoors, that the virus stays in the air for hours and accumulates. 3. If I'm wearing a mask, but they aren't, it takes my protection down exponentially. Honestly at this point it's not only extremely selfish to not wear a mask and put your clients at risk, but it's just reckless. So now I go back home to my 75 year old mother in law and father in law with cancer after these people endangered their clients.
