Used my passport option several times. The coaches were nice, friendly, and knew what they were doing. Highly recommend!

Great local gym with a variety of equipment and machines that fits your workout needs (pun very…read moremuch intended). If you are new to this gym, you can do a 3 day free trial before committing to a full membership or buying a day/week pass. Since I'm on vacation back home for the holidays, I will only be getting a week pass ($25). For anyone who is not too sure of how often they will go to the gym or are in town for a short period of time, you can buy a day pass for $10. I ended up doing some running on the treadmill because it was raining. The treadmill was kind of old (the built in fan was dusty) and difficult to use (touchscreen was not super sensitive). However, there were staff everywhere ensuring that machines and equipment were clean. Probably just one of those machines that they invested in a few years ago and will be used until it falls apart. Will be curious to check out the other equipment they have in the upcoming days. Overall, pretty decent accommodations, ranging from a sauna in the locker rooms and beverages up front. There is also a theater in the back, but I'm not 100% sure what it is used for. They also hold group classes in a small room in the back corner. If it is not actively being used for a class, it's a great place to stretch for warm up and/or cool down.

The gym is nice but the staff aren't the best in terms of customer service. This gym is all paper,…read moreno one line cancellations or things like that, and I feel like that should have been said prior to anything. When I called the front office, I wasn't even answered in a professional way. I literally had to ask "is this club metro" because the guy acted like I was calling HIS personal phone. Overall huge lack of communication and professionalism. Canceling my membership asap and can't say I would recommend this place to my friends.

I did the Zumba class last night and it kicked my butt! Not because it was overly intense, but…read morebecause my coordination was off and it was my first time ever attending that class. The steps are fast, so I had to concentrate to keep up the pace. I was not expecting it to be like dance moves. There was this one lady in the class who kept yelling out SUPER loud every time we did a power move, thrust,or jerk. Perhaps she was over caffeinated or just high on life... I'on know, but she was *extremely^ annoying. Anywho... I must give credit to the class instructor (whose name I believe is Alisha - based on the schedule at the desk). She was very sweet. She recognized that I was a newbie and ran through the moves one time before going at full speed. The rest of the class were obviously regulars because they had their moves down to a T. Altogether, Zumba class at Retro Fitness was a fun, heart- pumping, booty shaking experience!

Called to ask the manager about consistent rules around points rewards systems. Some employees will…read morescan my barcode, allowing me to earn 7 points (1 point for Each Dollar Spent On Smoothies) while others will tell me I "don't need to do that" and I don't get my points recorded. Manager said it's not protocol or standard to receive points for smoothie purchases (despite me receiving 7 points when the well-trained employees scan my code AND despite the earning rules saying you earn a point for each $ spent). Why her solution to me was for me to tell the associate I want it on my account? I'm not sure. I tell them this each and every time. Instead of taking accountability and saying she would retrain or refresh her staff on the points earned for purchases protocol, the manager diverted the blame to me. I am disappointed and will not be buying smoothies and likely won't return here.

I was never an athletic person. Gym was my least favorite class in school. The only sport I was…read moredecent at was badminton. Lol. As healthy as I am, I was experiencing some hip pain every time I got out of bed. I read that women over 50 start losing a significant amount of bone mass. I decided to join Planet Fitness for strength training. Not sure why the low ratings for this location but it's a solid 5 for me. - the workers here always keep this place in tip-top shape. - everyone is very respectful of one another. - lockers and restrooms are spotless. - even when the gym is packed I am able to use all the machines in my workout rotation. Remember, fitness and good nutrition go hand in hand. I load up on protein during the weekday and my cheat days are for the weekends. No matter what your fitness goals are, it's never too late to join no matter how old you are. I want to be able to sprint up a flight of stairs easily when I am in my 60s and 70s. My 23 year old son encourages me to be in the best shape I can be. I look to him for inspiration. This location recently went through a renovation. They did an awesome job. #NaturalEndorphins

This location has been double charging my card for 8 months. When I talked to the manager (the…read moreHispanic one, I don't know his name) he refuses to explain to me why. He said I have 2 accounts, but for some reason won't close whatever other account he's referring to. No that I've blocked their charges from my bank account, it adds a late fee and tries to charge me $25.99x2 a month, instead of the usual $15.99x2 it had been robbing. Now I have to go through the hassle of having the front desk person review my account every time I walk in because it registers as late. In my mind, I have 8 months credit, plus the extra $10 they robbed me of last month, in the form of a late fee. 4/8/26 update: After being asked to submit more info following my initial review, I still have no resolution. I get to the gym today and was refused admission. Worst gym ever.

So here's my story: I was a member of Retro Fitness and unfortunately, still am because the powers…read morethat be in management told me that since I paid for the year, they can't refund me. Do I go to retro anymore? Heck no. Why? Because once you step into the UFC gym, when you go back to Retro or Crunch, or Blink, and you say to yourself: What kind of 1 dimensional crap is this? From the moment you walk in there, the staff at the front desk, the managers, coaches, and even the gym members are really cool. They greet you even though they don't know you(be social and get to know them then). The place is kept sharp. I mean off the hook sharp. No matter what plan you go with, take advantage of every opportunity time permits to go because the place doesn't close! Yeah, you heard me right. Take classes. Whether you want to learn martial arts or just keep fit, push and test yourself. Try any class Everyone treats the place like family and there's a great aura. It's not a musclehead jock type ego filled gym. One word of caution: DO NOT LET THE WORD GYM FOOL YOU. UFC Gym is much more than that. It's your membership. Make the best of it. As for me, I've never felt more alive taking classes and meeting my fitness goals. 223 now and will be 200 and under by the end of the year. Don't ever want to leave either. GO FOR IT! TRAIN DIFFERENTLY!

As nice as this gym should and could be, it is unfortunately far from it…read more Yes, it's a large facility with a ton of equipment, but the cleanliness is honestly some of the worst I've encountered at a gym anywhere in the country. The bathroom floors, equipment areas, and mats8 ( you will gag when you smell the main boxing ring mat) are consistently filthy and genuinely unpleasant. For a facility of this size, there is really no excuse for the lack of basic cleanliness and maintenance. Another major issue is the overall professionalism and management culture. Management often comes across as extremely pretentious and unnecessarily rude toward customers. There also seems to be a very strange lack of professionalism among both management and some employees. I've personally witnessed management becoming involved with customers in ways that would be inappropriate in most professional workplaces. There is also a constant atmosphere of employees gossiping about one another and about customers, including who is involved with whom and various personal situations. It creates a very immature, high-school-like environment rather than the atmosphere you would expect from a professionally run business. And perhaps most surprisingly, the water fountains aren't even consistently working. For a gym, where people are exercising and need access to water, that should be one of the most basic things to maintain. This place has a lot of potential. The size, equipment selection, and overall facility could make it an excellent gym. Unfortunately, the cleanliness, maintenance, and lack of professionalism make the experience far below what it should be. UFC should take back their franchise from these owners, utter disgrace!
