This situation made the gym feel uncomfortable and no longer like the safe space it once was for me and my family. What has been most disappointing is how everything was handled. I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously, and ultimately I was the one who had to leave and cancel my membership after many years. I understand that personal situations can be complex, but when they affect members' comfort and trust, I believe they should be handled with greater care and accountability. It sounds like a small thing, but when you're racking several weights on each side of a bar and all the weights are different sizes and thicknesses then it's harder to balance and it feels unwieldy. At this location all their weights are in good condition and they match! This place is also super clean. Even in the winter when sand and salt seem to get everywhere, I never notice dirty or gritty floors here. Plenty of towels, lots of TVs that users can change, and good fans to keep it cool.
